Im sure this has been addressed but player fatigue!

Don't understand why 5 games into a season players are tired and need to be subbed. Is there a work around? I know this has always been an issue but I don't want to click through years of threads to find it.

What is the players durability?(you could always edit it up if you think it's not correct)...and you don't have to sub out ...it's just a coach suggestion.
I rarely do and just wait it out for the players next day off.

This... Your players will not explode if you just keep them in the lineup.

Players are SUPPOSED to "look tired."

The only time I really rest my players is before a crucial series. Like in my Mets franchise... if players are really fatigued during a series against the Cubs, and I know that immediately after the Cubs series I have a 4 game series against the Nationals.... I'll rest almost my entire lineup, so that everyone is fresh for that Nats series.

I also swap things around. Like I'll put Dendekker in Center and Lagares in Left just for one game... so that Lagares doesn't burn as much energy.

Anyway, yeah... you can just ignore the suggestions. That's all they are. It's not meant to imply that a rest day is required.

Barring injuries, I try to get about 159 games played from most of my guys.

Does ignoring the coaches suggestion make them more injury-prone or just more likely to have a bad game?

I also tend to ignore the suggestions and set my lineup based on the situation... although maybe I should start listening when my player has been struggling against lefties and then goes 0-4 on the night

In what mode? In On-Line Franchise, players don't get tired.

this would be in offline franchise mode.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I was watching a show on mlb network lastnight about the state the game of baseball is in for 2015, a statistic they used lastnight was amazingly horrible, in the 2014 season only 9%of starting players played over 150 games, thought this might help, lol.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. I remember reading it, either from a dev here, or in the in-game strategy guide or something...

It doesnt seem to be a very severe penalty though. I've had no problem getting an acceptable level of production from my players.

Of course there's no way to objectify or quantify this without input from a dev... but it seems to have only a minor effect on player performance/injury susceptibility.

As I said in my last post, I've been forcing guys to play all year, and I'm in first place. How bad can it be?
