I, too, use Auto-Fielding manual throw. Years ago I got frustrated by the constant hits down the line that I couldn't react to/field because of that dumb wave through animation the corner infielders do on balls down the line; that and I also always managed to screw up diving plays, robbing HRs, and playing the ball off the wall; so I switched to Auto Fielding and never gone back. The game feels much smoother and more realistic this way. The fielders are able to live up to their real life counterpart without my poor timing or the game's poor fielding mechanics to screw it up.

I use auto fielding, with manual throwing. Problem solved ;-)

Same here, although I do it because its just easier for me as I can think straight enough or quickly enough anymore to use manual. I do still make the throws, I just put fielding on auto.


I also use auto baserunning and have used it I think forever with MLBTS. I have always felt this is the 1 area where The Show lacks stability and seems to screw up quite often, or it use to anyway. Plus since thinking quickly is kind of hard for me just make its easier to go auto here as well.
