Possible Wrigley Bug on Foul Ball Outs
This may or may not be a bug, but has anyone else noticed while playing at Wrigley that some foul pop-ups seem to ricochet off an invisible wall dividing the stands from the field and then land in the nearest fielders glove for an out? I played 2 games at Wrigley yesterday and noticed on at least 4 occasions a foul pop-up would 'bounce' off an invisible wall about 10-20 feet above the field/stands and ricochet to the fielder running to try and catch it for an out.Tags: None -

Several reports of this on the bug tracker now, and I believe mine is the highest voted right now.

Yeah, I actually just noticed that after I posted this. Voted on it. No Dev comments, yet, though. Definitely a bug with Wrigley.Comment

Re: Possible Wrigley Bug on Foul Ball Outs
Pretty much. Seems to be some boundary issues with the park itself.
This seems to only work in the CPU (or auto-fielder's) favor, because the user does of course run into the wall and can't make the catch.Comment

Yea happened to me too...not the worst bug that has happened to me at Wrigley in MLB 15 either..Comment

Re: Possible Wrigley Bug on Foul Ball Outs
This may help explain why CPU fielders at Wrigley hit the wall and just keep running in place. they actually are trying to catch up to the ball because the out of play boundaries are messed up.Comment

Different stadium will work, too - Wrigley's the only park I've seen the warping foul balls in. Aside from RTTS you can choose the stadium to play in before every game.Comment
