Re: Possible Wrigley Bug on Foul Ball Outs

I may have a sort of workaround for this issue, although it probably means disabling trophies for a current game.

After you've seen this bug a few times, you'll have a pretty good idea of when it's going to happen - a pop foul into the front half of the box seats on either side (if it goes too far too fast to the left or right, it won't trigger). When you see this about to happen, pause the game and switch control to the other team. You should be able to control the fielder who was going for the ball, and that will cancel the bug since a user team cannot trigger it (unless they're using auto-fielding).

Obviously, use this at your own discretion - if the pop-up looks playable you're only cheating yourself out of a fair game. This will disable most trophies due to the team switch.

I'm hopeful this gets patched, but I just wanted to put this out there for any other Cubs fans like me who are having a hard time dealing with this.

Yeah, it happened to me when I flew out to the stand on the right.

Could be worse for Cubs users, there could be a "bug" that has a fan reaching over the outfield wall to "catch a homerun"

I've had that happen at US Cellular at the left field foul pole. Foul by a foot, home run.
