    Re: CPU bunting to much?

Bunting for hits I don't have an issue with. The suicide squeezes though.

Last series with Bos they had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no out and Ramirez up. 6th inning they were down 2.

He squeezed on me never saw it coming there. So said whatever, very next pitch to the 5th hitter squeeze again.

Hmmm...like I said its weird. I've seen others talk about it but I haven't seen the issue. I've had a pitcher attempt a suicide squeeze with 2 outs in the mid innings (4th or 5th) and the other one I saw was recently when Ian Desmond tried it with the Nationals in a game where they were down 1 in the 7th. I was a bit surprised that he tried it (only bunted once and fouled it off), but he was 0-3 with 3 k's on the night..so.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm with you on this one. Outta maybe 15 games I've seen two squeeze plays.

One was Tuesday, a suicide by Billy Hamilton with a runner on 3rd, 1 out, top of the seventh down by 1.

The other was a safety squeeze I believe by the Padres, Kemp I believe. It may have been a suicide squeeze.

Not to bring this to the forefront again, but I just played the Twins in DD, Hall of Fame level...Up 5-1 in top of 9...First guy gets on by error...Bring in Kenley Jansen...Next guys gets on by error (there's a trend here)...Base hit...Bases loaded...4 CONSECUTIVE squeeze bunts...I'm able to thwart one to make it 5-4 with 2 outs...Next man up -- routine pop fly to Dee Gordon -- drops it and 2 runs score...Ball game...

Between excessive amount of suicides I've seen and what appears to be 'rubber banding' in the late innings almost every game I play in HOF level or above, the game makes me livid -- But I'll play again tomorrow...

The bunting issue seems a good reason for them to implement some kind of editable manager attributes, such as tendency to squeeze, hit & run, sacrifice, bullpen strategy (each manager should have a separate hook rating), and general base running aggressiveness.

Then we could at least make some corrections by editing the individual managers and coaches.

It doesn't really bother me until they bunt with 2 strikes, foul it off, and are allowed another strike, which has happened to me twice so far. Commentator even says, "That's going to be an out!" and yet, the player will still be standing at home plate, ready to bunt yet again. This should probably be a priority for next patch.
