Phillies for me - managed to offload Howard, Utley, Papelbon, Lee and Hamels plus a load of prospects for Cano, Votto, Longoria, Simmons, Archer, Martin, Paxton, Petit and Doolittle.

91 wins in the regular season but the Dodgers ran me over 4-0 in the NLCS though

As someone already listed their top 10, it's really about their top 4 prospects for me:

      1. Jon Gray - RHP
      2. Eddie Butler - RHP
      3. David Dahl - OF
      4. Kyle Freeland - LHP

Dahl will fill in nicely for one of Blackmon/Dickerson, so I'm willing to trade 1 of those 2 to get another pitcher. With 3 of the top 4 prospects as SPs, that intrigued me. I figure this year (2015) will not be pretty, but I plan on going multiple seasons with this team. By 2016, I should have a rotation of Gray, Butler, Freeland, FA/Traded for SP (Hamels??) and a 5th. Pretty good with that lineup, should be able to contend.

25 year old RF. Not really great at anything but good at everything. A potential. I have him paired with Jason Heyward ( also 25 and A potential). Got Byron Buxton in AAA from the Twins ( 20 year old with A potential). Next year we taking ON these division leaders.

I decided on rockies as well, and moving blackmon/dickerson seems like the right thing...what about cargo? hes older and better rating maybe can get more?

Ya I'm sure you could get more for him, although he's fun to play with. Great at everything, but I could definitely see moving him for pitching.

Good to know, because the bug pretty much turned me off of the Cubs...my original first choice...

Since I try to pick rebuilds that I've never used before, the only other option I'm considering is TB...

LOVE the roster / rebuild challenge...not big on the Trop...

                Cubs or TB?

                TBD...

Rays.. talk about a challenge !
It would be fun though working on the offense cause they have good young pitching.

I need suggestions on a team. I am going to play every game and probably will only get through one season. I would like to play with a team that has a shot at the playoffs but is maybe missing a few small pieces. Any suggestions?

                      Royals, Mariners, Pirates?
Indians are great too with young prospects

Angels. Let's get Trout to the playoffs for the first time

Jays if you want to go easy on the trading (they're a pretty complete team besides 2B).

Yankees if you want to do some rebuilding on the way and shed contracts.

The Indians offer some young pitching and nice hitting options.

Ok, so I think the Texas Rangers will be my choice (if you read my opening post I didnt even consider them in the beginning lol).
Thier farm system isn't all that bad after all, although I already traded away 2 top 5 prospects and (Catcher Jorge Alvaro-B and SP Chi Chi Gonzales-B)and SP Wandy Rodriguez for SP Chris Archer (Rays). I think he can be a good No. 2 Starter behind ace Yu Darvish. Also his service time is low so this isn't just a short term investment.
Besides that I added Tyler Colvin - he'll be starting in LF. Another weakness was the BP, Rafael Soriano was a FA so I signed him to a 1 year deal. The last trade I made was for Philles Reliever Jake Diekmann, Phillies got Travis Demeritte (C-Potential). Both will be Setup men for Neftali Feliz.

With those changes the rangers can be a contender in 2015 don't you think? Solid rotation (with Yu Darvish being a real top shelf ace), solid line up, and solid BP and still decent farm system.
What do you guys think about my moves and chances?

Looks like you're heading in the right direction with things. Sometimes it's the small moves that makes a championship. Sneaky adding Colvin and Diekman/Soriano offers reliable arms for the pen. Archer should be good for years. As long as Holland and Harrison stay healthy so that you don't lack SP depth for a longer period of time, things are looking good
