Yes.....ALL CPU moves are auto if you set up their profile like that.

The entire "unrealistic trade" debacle is just that, a debacle. I guess I'm different because:

      - I don't look at it as "OMG that team would have NEVER made that trade, totally unrealistic".

      - I look at it as:

      1. Is this team making a playoff push, normal mode, or rebuild mode?
      2. What are the ages of the players?
      3. What do both teams need?
      4. What are the overalls and potentials of players?
      5. What are the contracts of the players being traded?

The trading system in this game is actually quite brilliant.

Do you guys use the immediate trades or use the waiting period? The waiting period is so you can get in there and cancel a bad trade right? So if you do immediate trades and a bad one happens, you just have to make the trade again to take it back, right?

The only thing that bothers(ed) me about the trading system was the monstrous amount of shuffling at the end of the year. Guys without contracts getting dealt three and four times within days. There was no loyalty in that entire lineups would change within the offseason for half of the teams.

Yes, I do realize that this happens IRL, too. SD being the case in point. But not entire divisions and not being dealt four times in an offseason.

If I remember right, turning on CPU Roster Control means that the CPU will not do anything on their own.

This makes it where the CPU will run their team like they normally would, but you can oversee to make sure they don't do anything you wouldn't like for them to do.

                  CPU Roster Control disables trades.

I've been using instant trades this year. I've noticed with the waiting period the amount of trades is great,y reduced, I think it is a bug. With instant trade on you get a more realistic amount of trades.

With 30 team control if I see a trade I don't like I just trade the players back.

so if I understand this correctly, I can go into pending transactions and decline trades for cpu teams? If so idk why I haven't been using 30 team control all along

We've all been wondering the same thing!

Yes...you can accept/decline or just let the CPU decide when viewing the transaction-trade screen.

                          Re: 30-team control

I experienced something very strange last night when I started my opening day game for my 30 team franchise. I was pitching against the Cubs and they swung at every single pitch. I thought maybe it was a coincidence in the first inning. After the first batter in the 2nd swung at the first pitch snd grounded out I threw a fastball as high and outside the zone as possible, and sure thing, swing and a miss. I said screw it and simulated the rest of the game. My pitchers after the game had a 98 percent strike rating...After returning to the main menu I went back in and changed all 30 teams profiles to the same "Experienced" profile I use for my primary team (STL) Went into game #2 and the problem was gone. Before I had them all on a seperate profile so that I didnt have to manage all the smaller responsibilities like minor league injuries, drafting, staff etc. I primarily just want to manage the other 29 MLB lineups, rotations, and call ups/send downs. Could this have been a problem with the file settings association? Has anyone else experienced this.
Using OSFM v.1 rosters/ Armor & Swords sliders (no quick counts)

                              Question:

Is there any reason MLB players injured in A who are also on the 40 man wouldn't get called up when they're healthy?

The game only promotes/demotes to majors based on injuries or recovering from injuries. It has never done transactions like this based on performance.
