Lack of injuries with 30 team control?

I'm using the OSFM 40 man rosters in Franchise, 30 team control.

I'm getting injuries on the team I have the franchise-specific settings set to Manual, but have not seen any injuries for the teams I have a profile set to Auto for the franchise-specific settings. Not sure if this would have any bearing as to the cause, but I used the provided 'beginner' profile for the other teams, and using Auto for the mode settings.

I simmed out to the end of the first month of the season, and no injuries.

For the heck of it, I ran a test 'chise with only one team controlled, and got a normal amount of injuries for all teams.

Anyone else seeing this, or am I missing something when I set up the 30 team control?

Did you by chance turn the injuries to manual or the manage injuries to manual?

Theres an option where you can apply your own injuries, I know that I had managed to set it that way in one of my franchises once and couldn't figure it out for quite some time

Where do you adjust injuries manually? Thanks!

I think it was something like you go to the teams disabled list, click X on the 15 day DL or 60 whichever, then it takes you to the roster where you select the player as well as the injury. I could be completely wrong though

Beginner difficulty will automatically turn off injuries for CPU 30 team control. I was having the same issue until I changed the difficulty on my 2nd profile. Once you do that, make sure injuries are turned on for your 2nd profile.

I thought that may have been the problem, so I created a new profile with 'experienced' as the template, and it solved the issue.

I was a bit worried there for a second!

I'm having the same issue. I went back and created a new profile based on Experienced, and assigned it for all 30 teams, however I still cannot set injuries from the disabled list screen. I see no way of getting to the roster where I can set the injury.

Make sure Injuries are set to Manual (Gameplay Options, General - Advanced).
                Disabled List (under League)
L1/R1 to go to Manage Injuries.

Yes, I did that. But when I press L1/R1 it doesn't do anything.

Make sure that the profile that has manual injuries is loaded...then also hit the USE AS DEFAULT option(USER SETTINGS)

                      I'm very frustrated.

I did make sure that I used Experienced template, saved it as default, and injury management on manual. I'm very perplexed. I go to the disabled list, but the L1/R1 are not going to the player roster. I know this is how it worked with MLB 14, don't know why it's not working with MLB '15.

If you got it working on '14 that way...you'd be the only one.
Injury management is not what needs to be manual.

                        USER SETTINGS---GAMEPLAY OPTIONS----GENERAL----R2 for ADVANCED---INJURIES to MANUAL.

I meant the L1/R1 worked in MLB14. Anyway, I think I got it now. Thanks for all the help!

Ok, I figured it out. Hope this helps.

As you start a franchise, you are prompted to determine the mode entry options after you select which teams you want to be in charge of. Here, you MUST make sure CPU Roster control is OFF. Doing so will then allow you to set injuries manually in your franchise. It seems oxymoronic to me, but after testing every which way in starting a franchise, this was the determining factor in being able to manually set injuries

CPU ROSTER CONTROL as an option was a pre-cursor to 30 team control and manual injuries. Honestly......they should remove it(but not until they put the EXPORT PLAYER option into the MANAGE ROSTER SCREEN(in franchise...not when doing roster editing) as it's legacy and you can do anything and everything from within 30 team that you can do with CPU RC on.(and unlike RC...you can switch everything on and off at will at any time)
