I have been playing " The Show " since 2011 with that said I have been excited for every new addition since including this years version which I love. I play RTTS exclusive and really have no interest in any other part of the game which might worthwhile but no interest.For some reason after the first three weeks of playing I find myself kind getting bored with the whole baseball thing all together. I have been taking a break hoping that will peak my interest again after a while. I play some other games War Thunder which I love and waiting for PGA Golf and Star Wars Battle Front to come out. Anyone else having " The Show " blues as I call em ??

I'd say this game requires a true passion for baseball for the person to not get bored of it.

Some things that bother me:

- few stats, baseball is a game of stats

- crowd animations, particularly the fans walking up and down the aisles, kill immersion. I play primarily MOM.

- outfielder animations to my eyes have not been improved. They suddenly speed up and then the fielder has a normal looking animation

- ball looks way too big compared to everything else.

- I was hoping a true customization camera would make it into the game, maybe next year? Screenshots by marketing team do not reflect the actual views in the game. I should be able to see the action from anywhere, not just from behind the catcher or pitcher

- the crowd does not react to the action in a realistic manner. If a ball is hit to the left side of the field, down the left field or down the line, the crowd should follow the action.

- was hoping to see emotion from the players and umps. Broken bats, thrown bats, warnings from the umps, brawls, overly aggressive pitching.

Not fully agreeing here. Someone can love the game of baseball, but the video game has to bring enjoyment to that person.

It's been roughly 20-25 years since I've followed baseball closely,but have always enjoyed playing video game baseball.

What has made the game fun for me (besides the great gameplay) has been playing diamond dynasty along with listening to spotify.
I have found a nice mixture of song and sound in the game that doesn't make it repetitive as just listening to the commentary.

I just never understand how RTTS can get boring. I love it. Yea I wish they would add more to it. It's baseball.

That's kind of confusing. How 'bout.. A person who doesn't love baseball will get bored of The Show.

I've found that when I have gotten bored with the game, it's usually because the setting is too easy so I need to up the difficulty so I feel the intensity a bit more.

In MLB13, I played on legend difficulty and had a blast...my age has unfortunately downgraded me to AS level now though.

It's counter-intuitive to think, but there have been seasons I've played where I've finished last or next to last in division standings, but they were more fun than some pennant winning seasons. Go figure.
