It's potentially no issue at all and essentially my question for those who know, is how much does fatigue factor into a players ability in a game or his susceptibility of getting injured? It seems that once you're a week or two into the season at least one of your every-day starters is "needing a rest."
I totally get that no one plays 162 games per year anymore, but Starlin Castro for example has played every game in real life but he's practically out of "energy" for me two and a half weeks into my season in The Show. Given, the Cubs in real life have had a few rain outs but I still feel it's completely reasonable that he still would have played every inning of every game.
What happens when a player's energy bar drops all the way down and you still play him?
