I, like many others, am not truly sure when(on the stamina bar)a player "takes a hit". But I'll give you an example of something I went through.

Starting my game...the cpu suggests that I sit David Wright due to "looking fatigued"...I had a couple injuries and was already sitting a couple others, so couldnt afford to sit him, so, he played. He went 0-4(no injury). I did sit him the next game(as it prompted me again). The next game that he played he ended up going 2-3. Coincidence? Possibly. But I'd like to think that day off helped digital David out and got him back to where he needed to be.

I personally like the prompts to sit guys. It lets you know when they need a rest and it helps to give your bench guys some playing time(theres a good chance Id never sit anyone otherwise)

What is his durability rating? Maybe edit that up and see if it helps? Although I do prefer to have to juggle my lineups than not I wish they had a player stamina slider.

I'm not much of a fan of how it works either. I like my starters to play at least 150 games in a season, if possible, and the energy bar's rapid decline is highly annoying to me. I tend to ignore it until someone winds up with an injury and I have to sit him. I'd love to be able to Cal Ripken somebody in franchise or RTTS.

I traded for puig in my fantasy drafted jays team and the first game I went to play right after I got him I couldn't use him cause he literally had no energy. His energy/stamina bar was completely gone.

I guess that indicates the CPU doesn't care how low his energy is. I don't either. I play guys at very low energy. It doesn't influence my decision to play a guy or not.
