Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
I've never seen the AI attempt the suicide squeeze so much in any baseball game. Be aware with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. They are not scared to squeeze.Tags: None -

Try pitching out, slide stepping, stepping off, or throwing over to third when you think they may attempt.
for the first time in a while, you MUST manage the run game.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

It happens frequently in RTTS.... It's always the big bats as well which is puzzling... They even try it with 2 strikes... Is this a bug?Pro fighter (UFC), I game! (PS4/XB1), This is my life!

I've seen it twice. It happens in late in close games. Perfectly executed. You basically have to prepare for it or you're done.Comment

Re: Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
I agree with the OP. I've played 70 games and have seen it quite frequently. Here is the worst scenario it occurred in:
the game was in extra- innings, bottom of the inning....the CPU had the bases loaded and no outs....popped up the bunt to my pitcher, which resulted in a triple play.
I'm honestly surprised people (and Ramone) are not seeing suicide squeezes occur more often due to the frequency I've had it happen.Comment

If this happened to me, Tiger Woods would pale in comparison to my fist pump and screaming.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Russell,
I've seen the CPU do it before on legend mode.. The Red Sox too no less. They had Ortiz and their big power guys up and they bunted with Ortiz, i was very surprised.Comment

Re: Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
Its happened to me before as well, a few times. Late innings, runner on 1st and 3rd, its almost guaranteed. You can throw a ball way outside so they can't make contact and just apply the tag. I've had a couple games end that wayPSN: OverPar8Comment

Re: Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
I've personally only seen a suicide squeeze once in all the games that I've played. And it wasn't out of the ordinary.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
Played about 10 games in franchise mode. Seen it twice already in tied games in the 9th. One of those instances they bunted four times in a row to load the bases and then squeeze a man home to win in the bottom of the ninth. Ugh

Re: Okay, we need to talk about AI suicide squeezes
I've seen it about 4 times in 50 games.
The first 3 times it caught me off guard because honestly, who calls a squeeze?
The 4th time I suspected it was coming but I got quick counted into a 3-1 count.
I thought AI throwing errors were insane after my first 3 games I saw 11 throwing errors from the CPU. I remember coming on her expecting to see threads everywhere but in 50 games in my franchise there have only been a couple three more. the high frequency noise is what keeps a franchise from feeling stale!Comment
