Re: Called up prospects. How are they doing in your franchise?

I'm the Twins just entering August, so I have called up some guys.

SP - Alex Meyer - Have him working as my long relief man right now. He is 2-2 with a lot of K's. He will be a starter next year.

SP - Trevor May - Called him up early in the season. Got rocked was 2-7, with a 4.50 ERA, sent him down recently.

SP - Jose Berrios - Called him up a few days ago. He has had 2 starts, and is 2-0.

3B - Miguel Sano - This kid is a beast. He has a lot of K's, but he has 12 home runs through 40 games.

CF - Eddie Rosario - This is another guy I called up earlier in the season, and I sent back down. He was batting .180, and had like 5 errors. Sent him back down.

RF - Adam Brett Walker - He was called up due to injury, and the guy he was up for just got activated. I kept up ABW because he was batting .240 and had 5 homers through 35 games.

Kyle Zimmer (Royals SP) won rookie of the year, CY Young, AND MVP in 2017...on HoF pitching difficulty too! 20 wins, sub 2 ERA, top 5 in Ks.

I just called up Julio Urias at the young age of 18. He went 9 shutout innings, struck out 14, and only gave up 3 hits. I think I have a prodigy on my hands.

Stephen Piscotty just had a walkoff single against Pittsburgh.

He's hitting after 20+ games in the majors, .434 with 0 HR's and 12 RBI's. And he has played solidly at 3rd base and 1st base.

Yep, guess I'll give him a max contract in the offseason

I called up Swihart to use him as my every day catcher and after about 30 games he is doing well. He is batting .280 with 6 hrs and 24 RBI.

Now Matt Harvey just went down so I called up Noah Syndergaard, he didn't have such a good start in his first game. 4 2/3 innings 6 runs, 9 hits, against the Giants. Hopefully his next start will be better.
Cuddyer got hurt in my franchise too. Guy seems injury prone lol

I traded a prospect for Wil Myers a few years ago. Eli Rosario.. he won ROTY and has hit 30+ HR each of his first 2 years

Jose Peraza got the start day one in my Braves franchise and he is playing well. I've only played a few games but he has been able to get on base and do damage with his legs. His defense is pretty good as well.

                  Looking forward to developing him.

Pompey started the season for me and in the first month hit .212 with no homers and 5 steals. He had made a couple errors in CF as well so I claimed Maxwell off waivers and traded for Venable to help with my OF issues. Castro and Osuna have been lights out in my bullpen, both with sub 2 ERA's and a great reason for my bullpen success. Travis has been okay batting .254 with 5 homers and 15 RBI.

Finally called up Kris Bryant on May 1, In his second game vs the Brewers who the Cubs are tied for first with, he hit his first HR, a grand slam to lead the Cubs to a 4-1 win.

2015 was a rough year for a couple of top 50 prospects SS Nick Gordon and C Blake Swihart as both tore their MCL's and was forced to retire. Byron Buxton dislocated his ankle in the 10th game of the season in double A and missed the whole season, but was on the MLB roster to start the 2016 season.

Kris Bryant won NL Rookie of the year hitting .265 AVG 28 HR and 92 RBI
Migual Sano won AL Rookie of the year .249 AVG 31 HR 87 RBI

Addison Russel was traded to the Padres for Craig Kimbrel and struggled only hitting .236 and lost his A potential.

I wouldn't consider Ty Kelly a prospect, but he's doing a great job since I called him up after Bourjos' injury.

I was about to send him down after only a couple of weeks, but then he had to start because Wong got hurt before the Mets series. He had two hits in that game, and started raking.

I've had him in every game since.

I play on MOM as the Rangers. Having a real tough year as I am 24 games under 500 going into the month of September. Joey Gallo has been on the ML team since day one. He does have 16 HR's yet is hitting only 210 and is second in the league in strikeouots. I started him at DH and then when Beltre went down with an injury he moved to 3rd. Hopefully he can bring his average up a little.

Well hes completely frozen the slumping Rajai Davis out of the lineup by only hitting .419 through 11 or 12 games i think it is
Yeah I called up Moya too after Martinez was hitting like .183 and Moya has done well; has a HR and 5 RBI so far in limited action. Meanwhile Martinez has only gotten worse in AAA, hitting under .180 down there last I checked. Hopefully Moya can keep it up.

Last year with my Mariners franchise I called Ty Kelly up (before he was traded to Stl.) due to a ton of injuries and he played well for me too.
