No sir, there is a happy medium. If I'm hitting, I am in control of making contact and how well. The ratings are still in control of whether it falls in for a hit or not. That's how ratings tie into it.

In terms of pitching, I am in control of where the pitch is located. The ratings still control HOW accurate and whether the computer is able to make solid contact with the pitch. The ratings also control whether the pitch is called a ball or strike based on control of the pitcher.

At least this is how it should be. The pitch location should NOT be random at all, it should be directly tied to my meter feedback. Many of the other factors should be based on ratings, good sir.

Isn't that how it is real life though? Even the best pitchers don't always find their intended target, its how homeruns are given up.

So before if you fouled a bunt with two strikes you weren't out.

Now fouling a bunt with one strike and you're out.

I've seen about 5 foul bunts since the patch with less than two strikes and not once has it been ruled an out.

So while it may happen, its not a every occurrence type bug.

Another great/fast patch. Just bummed they haven't fixed the Wrigley foul ball issue and the wind not effecting the ball. (Also played a game at Roger Centre last night and a domed stadium had a 22mph wind) not good

I do, but I've also been at about 25 Jays games over the past 20yrs and never remember they're being wind inside the Roger Centre with the dome being opened!

This is pretty much all I've been asking for the past few years. Someone to acknowledge that some of us who are seeing these issues aren't crazy and they do exist. They're just MUCH more noticeable this year because the PS4 makes it easy to upload videos. In the past, people would complain about providing evidence. Now that we can, you start seeing people changing their tunes.

I'm actually curious about the videos you are talking about here... even though it's become so easy to upload videos (I use the feature all the time now to file bug reports), I'm yet to really see videos that actually "prove" your points.

Which videos prove your point about "unrealistic rally generation"?

Is this only with 30 teams? I'm planning to do a 2 team franchise with 1 from the AL and 1 from the NL.

I have not tried that. I can say though with using 30 team control the Opening day bug, home run bug, and stat graphics bugs that I have seen are all FIXED since the patch. I can finally enjoy playing a franchise now!!!!

I posted one last week or two weeks ago where the Cpu team threw two straight balls into centerfield. The first play I stole second and the catcher launched the ball into center. Next batter walked. Very next batter hits a nubber in front of the plate. The catcher jumps on it and fires to second and misses the second basemen by about 5 feet. And this benefited me, but it just felt wrong. It just wasn't a realistic rally.

How are two throwing errors by the catcher a rally? Am I missing something?

What are the odds you're going to see that same outcome again? This is an entirely possible situation that can happen during any game in the majors. You're looking at these things too hard man. Embrace the randomness and don't put too much thought into these things. It sounds like you're expecting to play a perfectly played out, error free game...

was this in franchise where player fatigue is also usual, so it could play a factor during games?

Honestly, you may be right. Is it possible I'm looking too hard at it? Yes. With that said, when was the last time you saw a catcher make two consecutive errors that missed the second basemen by 5 feet each that led to 3 runs scoring in a tight game? It's not exactly a common occurrence. Could it happen? Yes. Does it happen? Hardly.

Yes sir, it was, but it was game 3 of the season, so fatigue probably wasn't much of an issue at that point.
