Yeah, that's not what I was referring to. That's the infield popup runner taking a base. I'm talking about CPU runners taking TWO bases on normal sacrifice flies.

So the starter stamina issue in the Playoffs in franchise mode wasn't fixed?

Gonna have to disagree. If you play the playoffs game you can go 7+ days without the pitcher getting their stamina back. October 10th, Game 1 of the ALDS i used Yordano Ventura. His stamina wasnt all the way full by October 18th when i used him for Game 1 of the ALCS. If its not a bug and thats how its intended to be then it should be changed for sure.

Thank you. This is exactly my point. You missed no branch points. You pre-loaded your throws. The problem is the outfielder threw a lazy throw to the cut-off man who simply didn't have enough time to catch the runner at home. This is not a simulation aspect of this game at all.

Base-running tag-outs ?
Foul balls transported to fielder's glove in Wrigley Field ? (not only Cellular Field)

These 3 issues were NOT mentioned nor addressed in 1.03 Patch !

Sorry I see absolutely no issue with this. Your Center fielder didn't throw at full strength pre loaded or not it was a weak throw because that is what you pre loaded. Just my impression of the video and of course only my opinion.

Just to show that this CAN happen (it's happened to me pre-patch as well):

The CPU takes the game situation into account on plays like this. It's a close game late, and instead of taking the sure out it goes for the twin killing. Earlier in the game it throws to first here most of the time.

I've actually seen this a couple of times in my offline franchise, both for and against me. It normally happens on a warning track ball where the outfielder hits the wall.

I use Auto for both Fielding and Throwing BTW

Sorry I see absolutely no issue with this. Your Center fielder didn't throw at full strength pre loaded or not it was a weak throw because that is what you pre loaded. Just my impression of the video and of course only my opinion.

Although I agree with you that this was most likely due to initial weak throw in this instance, I think there is room for improvement on the urgency of some of the outfield throw animations coming from jogging/running catches.


I have also seen some video examples of this type of play that were not as deep with full strength throws. They were more a result of the "brace against the wall" animation sequences. This is definitely an area for improvement.

Do you think the changes to baserunning and the speed of runners this year could be part of the reason we are seeing things like this example?

I've been seeing similar plays happening online where the animations simply cannot keep up with the baserunners and people are taking advantage of it by sending runners in situations like the above video. Very frustrating.

Has anyone else seen a white flash on players after plays and exiting the bullpen? It's like someone is taking flash pictures. Has it been fixed?

My bug report about it was deleted.
