Re: Parks you hate playing at.
Homer parks. Specifically, Fenway and Minute Maid.
I can play an amazing game and lose because I gave up a couple of blooper home runs over that ridiculously short 310 wall in left. My team is mostly left handers, so I can't abuse that wall like my opponents can.
Minute Maid because it's basically impossible to hit a homer over the 435 center wall. That field can make any centerfielder look like a golden glover. Yet the side walls are extremely short so it just rewards players who swing late or early on everything.
Do you use zone hitting?Do it. (Release The Show for PC)Comment

I see that roof is open every time I'm hitting and during plenty of cut scenes, you are playing only from broadcast cam using fastplay? And even when I'm not seeing the roof directly I can see the sun shining in and the different lightning, really no doubt about it...Comment

It's probably not the first thing on my list either but pretty high up, high enough that if I was to decide it it would definitely make it into next years game.

You will not be here long enough to finish that conversation if you bring this up again in this thread.Comment

Re: Parks you hate playing at.
I would disagree with you on this one. I find Citizens Bank Park is the hardest stadium to hit in and the sole reason for this is because it's harder to read the ball with that colourful background.Comment

Re: Parks you hate playing at.
Mine is Miller Park for no other reason than I play poorly there lol
If I win, it's because my pitching staff shut them down. Our offense is terrible there.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Parks you hate playing at.
There are only two parks that I truly hate, and one isn't in the game anymore. Those two are O.co and Hubert H Humpfrey Metrodome.
I always feel uncomfortable in progressive field. The place feels like an underground fighting arena or the old Roman Colosseum with the audience so separated from the field. I feel like my players should be carrying nail bats and fighting to the death.
The trop is just depressing.
I like that there are parks I agree and disagree with though. It's good for the game to move me outside of my comfort zone.Comment

Re: Parks you hate playing at.
I think my least favorite stadium to pitch in is definitely Yankee Stadium because those fences down the line are pretty easy to give up line drive homers and I think Camden Yards may be a close second cause of that left field wall and I think my least favorite stadium to hit in is probably Marlins stadium or Tropicana, neither of them really appeal to me and neither present a great environmentPSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

I always use catcher offset cam, never had much of a problem picking the ball up at CBP. But man at Wrigley, particularly off righties, I cannot see the ball that well.Comment

Re: Parks you hate playing at.
The Trop is such a depressing sludge dump. It doesn't possess a single redeeming quality.
I love the city of Tampa, like the the Rays, and I wish I could use them in a franchise, but it's impossible to deal with the Trop. Add to that the fact that the stadium is killing the franchise in real life with that anchor of a lease.
If SCEA made a game where all you did was run a demolition crew, I would pay $60 just to watch that crap bubble crumble to the ground.Comment
