Re: Parks you hate playing at.

I will join the crowd against that dump that is Tropicana Field. Then again, I dislike pretty much any dome stadium in any sport (retractible roofs are fine).
Marlins park feels like being in an 80s cop drama tv show, but I tend to hit pretty well there (might have something to do with the Marlins pitching though).
I also don't like Atlanta very much, but that is probably because I have yet to play there with any sort of crowd to speak of.
Oh and I have read Miller Park a couple of times on this thread and I really hate playing day games there. Actually, it was just a home run derby (I believe 2019 in RTTS), because there were funky shadows on the batters eye and the ball would cross between sections of sun and shade on the batters eye multiple times every pitch and it just hurt. Thankfully it was just a home run derby so nothing was coming in hot.

I will add pretty much every PCL ballpark in this game to that list (I know they are not really real, but maybe the dimensions are close?). I tend to hit a lot of my power to left center, center, and right center (power hitter in RTTS), and the parks in the PCL all have deep center fields. One is even 450 I believe.

I'm surprised at the hatred of O.Co. It's a dump in reality, but somehow looks really good to me in-game, and I hit and pitch well there.

I agree with the post about Wrigley being tough because it lacks a hitter's eye. I can't pick up anything high in that park, day or night, so my K rate goes up a bit when I'm there.

Safeco is also extremely challenging for me.

I think the Trop is one of the better stadiums in the game. Lighting is great.

Yeah, I use zone hitting with analog swinging. I usually just center swing, unless my opponent is abusing a certain part of the plate.

I try to put it on the ball unless it's 3-0 or 3-1 count. It really helps to center the pci on the ball, but I've hit some bombs in those counts just leaving the pci centered.

Man who cares? I'm a Jays fan and Id way rather them improve the game then add a stupid roof to the stadium.

All the domed stadiums. My home team Detroit... That stadium just looks so blah so I don't like it. Hate the Rangers stadium and Twins stadiums most of all. Just so ugly.

Last year was Safeco for sure. I've only tried it out a couple times this year but it seems better

This year for me it's Miller Park during a day game. Night games are fine but the shadows are deadly during the day. I just got shut out 7-0, 5 hits only, 2 fielding errors caused by the transition from shadow to bright sun, plus a few other hits that I got a late break on for the same reason

I have no problem with Wrigley during day games and after the sun sets. But those first three innings on night games I just can't pick up the ball to save my life.
But the park I've really struggled with for some reason is Citizens Bank. I think I only scored 2 runs in my last series, including a 2 hit shutout against Harang.

If I had to pick one out of the NL Central where I play as the Pirates:

                      Great American Ballpark

It's just a really average park to play in. Busch/Wrigley/Miller are just great looking parks. There's nothing that great about GAB.

I honestly don't hate any of the stadiums. Some of them are kind of boring, but I don't dislike them. I obviously like the more unique ones better like Fenway and AT&T.

Same here. I don't think I hate any of them, except maybe Atlanta. I just find that place dull, boring whatever you want to call it. Or maybe it's just because I'm a Mets fan and I can't stand the Braves.

the braves ball park reminds me to much of the old cookie cutter ballparks. the field itself is nothing special unlike other ballparks. i like places like att and houston/chase field where the outfield has different curves to it

I don't necessarily hate Wrigley, it's lack of a real hitters eye just makes it a very tough place for me to hit. The park it self is a classic, and is nice to look at while playing. But I tend to struggle there for the aforementioned reason.

Haha, weird. This is the second time in about 30 secs. I've come across one of your posts that I absolutely agree with. I saw the title of the thread and first thought was Wrigley because of the lack of a good backdrop for the hitter's eye.
