Also, try deleting and starting over, then putting it in rest mode.

What exactly are the boundary issues, and how often do they come up? I want to play a Cubs franchise, but the warping put me off the idea of playing 81 games at Wrigley. If there are other issues as well, I might have to rule it out for this year.Impact de Montréal

The game does not recognize a large chunk of foul territory as actually being out of play (in the stands beyond third and first base). If you hit the ball there, the commentary, players, and game physics treat it like it's hit into foul territory but in play.
Normally, if you hit a ball out of play to left field, for example, Matty V will announce the ball "into the crowd" or "out of play" and you'll see the fans reach for it or the ball carom off the concrete.
At Wrigley, however, Matt V will wait as if the ball is playable and then announce it as "lands foul" or make a comment that nobody can get to it (when the ball is twenty rows back into the stands). The ball disappears through the crowd/seats and the fans make no reaction to it.
This is why the fielder chasing it will run in motion at the wall - he thinks the ball is playable because that area is treated as in play by the game engine.Comment

The boundary and warping issues are related.

Want to add that if you do want to play games at Wrigley in franchise, there's still a way around this bug. After you've seen it several times you'll have a pretty good idea of where the ball has to go for it t happen, and you can pause the game and switch teams before the ball comes down. When you're controlling the fielding team the warping bug won't happen. Then just switch back.
Not the best way to resolve this, but it's kind of essential for a Cub fan like myself.Comment
