    Steve Lyons Today in Baseball

One of the "Today in Baseball" or whatever the cut-scene is called is that in 1990 Steve Lyons played all 9 positions with the White Sox. I think it's pretty funny that they have the fact in the game and Vasgersian says that some of us probably weren't even alive for it, and then they show the fact and that's it. In real life Lyons would probably talk about that day for at least a batter or two and it would be an interesting discussion. He doesn't have any audio attached to it in The Show

I rarely get the "Today in Baseball" fact, seen it maybe 2 or 3 times in over 100 games so far into my franchise, used to get them all the time in past games.

Add it to those other very rare occurrences/cutscenes that i have only seen once, like my batter arguing with the catcher after almost getting hbp, blimp cam and other replay angles that have popped up once and have never seen again.

Glad they are rare and don't see them every game but wouldn't mind seeing some of these things more than once in over 150 odd games, makes me wonder what other things i haven't seen.

You must be pressing "X" to skip the cut scene. The "this day in baseball history" is an every game thing

No, i don't skip scenes all that often as presentation is a big part of sports games for me and have been very vocal against the way the game has been heading regarding the removal of slow game speed, batter walkups, presentation being cut short, ect.

Yeah i do remember it being a every game thing in past games but not this year, for me anyway.
