Re: Fielding Camera's
I dont see why we cant just place a free floating camera anywhere in the stadium seating area and lock the view from there for those of us that love to manage or play CPU vs CPU games. And simply call it the FAN CAM. Or Spectator CAM. Then allow us 2 save slots to place and lock these cams anywhere from the crowd. It would simply awesome!!
It's like having your own Virtual Ticket to any game!!....come on Sony!!. Where's your marketing creativity these days!??.....Put me on the project team!
Give us this and a HISTORY section in the game to track all our historical franchise data and put a bow on it!
this is still the way to go I think.....it will give the player infinite replayability options and always keep the game feeling freshComment

Re: Fielding Camera's
I would like to see the old school high camera where the camera zooms in and out depending on how high the ball is hit. In that high cam, most of the field is in view by default thus scrolling is minimal. Its similar to sitting at a baseball game behind home plate in the mid to upper deck.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
This has been discussed before. I've even created cameras like this during past CD trips, using the fly cam widget. The main thing is probably that it's not very high on many people's wishlist (it's on mine) to warrant the development time, and secondly there are some issues of giving too much freedom on the cameras users can create. So basically, a happy medium needs to be reached. As well as an increased request for such a feature of course.

Re: Fielding Camera's
My biggest gripes with the fielding cameras is that it is straight on with the left side of the infield when a ground ball is hit there instead of angled behind the plate. Also don't like how you can't see where the home run lands, you only see the outfielder running into the wall looking up.Comment

There's hasn't been very much stated yet on the Home Run Derby...
Unless I missed something earlier
I know somebody is going to say "Search topic"
But I mean more from the Twitch postings etc.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
I think the number one feature I'd want is to see the flight of the ball on homers. It's cool to see your ball hit the upper deck, instead of always seeing the outfielder at the wall. Basically, have the type of camera you see on tv broadcasts when a homer is hit, or from ps2/xbox's ESPN baseball, ASB05.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

They have it on no-doubters, but the camera's tracking is based on the landing spot, regardless of the ball's actual flight. So if a ball lands in McCovey Cove or the Allegheny River, the camera will pretty much be looking at the ground. Meanwhile, if the ball is going to hit high off the fair pole, you're likely to see the ball's entire flight path because the camera will now be panned up for you to see it hit that part of the pole.
If they want to work on that more, they'll have to do some adjusting to the camera tracking. It has been like this since MLB 10, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
