Also I would like to point out that I mentioned on several occasions that the A's would be a more interesting re-build, but I wanted to steer the OP away from that terrible, terrible ballpark.

But who in their right mind would trade away Cabrera? Even Kinsler and Verlander are difficult trades, especially if you're playing with budgets.

I still say the Indians are the best choice for the OP because there is a lot to keep if you like it, and a lot to trade if you don't. It really is one of the most flexible teams in the game. You could go for right now or you could go full blown re-build, or something in between. It's all viable with the Indians.

This hit the nail on the head completely. That's what I am trying to do, break down a team with trades for prospects and build from the ground up using my methods and styling. I went home last night and looked at the Tigers and thought this is a good team to rebuild, but as Warmwind says, I cant really break the team down. JD, Vic Mart, Verlander, and a few other guys are not going anywhere. Yes, the farm system, using updated rosters and the ofsm rosters, is horrid with a bunch of C guys. I just didn't get the vibe from it what im trying to do

The Tigers trading these guys? NO way! SO, I wanted to see the As and Indians also. While the As need ALOT of help. Two things, steered me away; One, the park is indeed bad and would cause me days of drinking afterwards to get that site out of my head. Second, just something about the team that turned me off, not sure what it is. WarmWind seems to understand!

Anyways, so started up the Indians and looked around and really enjoyed what I saw. I got through Spring Training with Budgets on of course. Put the guys you suggest up for trade block. Now, I just have to see what happens. Looks enjoyable and they do indeed need help in most areas! NOw, I just have to figure where to go with the team from here.

Feels like I lost the election lol but absolutely agree. Tigers are a rebuild team but the As and Indians are a better rebuild team. Absolutely agree on the O.Co problem. Wish and hope next year they do what Madden did and put in a remodel the stadium or build a new one feature in.

Minnesota would've been a good pick too rethinking it. Buxton, Sano, plouffe, dozier. Need pitching though.

Awwww don't feel rejected. I still might come back to them after if by some chance they get bored. There is a lot of potential in Tigers, god there pitchers are horrible. Velander, is not so highly rated, got rid of sanchez, and rest is just in high 60s. lol. BUt, there budget is huge, and its really is an easier build. I might start three eventually, ill see.

YEah, I burned myself out of the Twins last year. They were my primary ones. My other one is the Reds, but, through the first month Im five games over .500. I play one game, and simulate the next 4. IM in first place, so its not exactly turning into a Rebuild. Also, my only player is VOtto, I traded most of the other veterans. So ill see, im in a losing streak now, lol. So I might end up changing this team.

I know the rays are another, but I feel minus the division the rays really are set. They have young talented pitchers, and no power hitting, but a decent all around staff.

And I already forgot about the previous years twins for him lol like I said, I control six teams to keep my interest. I'd love to play every game for all but it'd take forever. I simmed two years and my tigers team still isn't where I want cause I'm trying to be authentic and not trade Victor or JV. Still have kinsler too.

So have fun with the Tribe
