My wishlist:
- More in depth trades. I really hope we can have more than 3 players per side in trades, be able to eat parts of contracts, send cash considerations, player to be named later, etc.
- Contract extensions. Nuff said.
- In depth contracts. Front loaded, back loaded, incentives, no trade, etc.
- International free agency. Posting system, etc.
- Improved player ratings. Maybe use the 20-80 scale that MLB scouts use instead of the 0-100 that has been used in the show for years. Instead of rating prospects, maybe have scouting reports generated for them.
-On the topic of prospects, rework the draft. Its just too bland how it works right now and there is no incentive to scouting.
-Maybe give us the option to keep player portraits after they are traded instead of getting the 3d generated image or have all players wear a generic jersey in their portraits (not sure if it is still done but i think Madden use to do this, where all players wore a grey jersey so if they were traded their portrait wouldn't have a different teams logo on it).

This is all i can think of off the top of my head at the moment. I'm sure there is plenty that I left out but these are the biggest things i've wanted for years at this point.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned in this megathread but in franchise mode cpu teams do not sign the free agents who available in the first season. In Madden the cpu teams do sign players who are free agents in the first season.

I resist signing free agents until the first off season because it gives me an unfair advantage over the cpu teams.

I know it's late for this, but since this is now no longer a request thread and instead a starry-eyed dream thread, I figured I'd write it down anyways.

I was playing a game today where one of my players was on the bench due to an injured hand. Get to the end of the game, my team wins, and everybody in the dugout is high-fiving... including my injured guy. I'm like BRO! Easy on the hand!

My point is it would be cool if there was code to exclude injured players from the celebratory animations, and even cooler if they had their own exclusive animation path. You know, the guys outside the huddle smiling and looking in like they wish they were part of it.

Greater still would be if during broadcast the camera showed the injured player on the bench and the announcers talked about the injury and the suspected timetable to get back.

Not an issue if it isn't in the Show 16, just something that I thought of that would be cool. It would be a small but immersive touch.

Something that popped into my head the other night.

For those familiar with MLB Network's All Night coverage of every major league game going, MLB Tonight, how cool would it be if instead of choosing to play one game with one team every day for a whole season, wouldn't it be awesome if we could "turn on" MLB Net and watch MLB Tonight. Watch the live look-ins and drop into every major league game when the big moments happen.

Even more into it we could play as one of the teams in the Live Look-Ins? For example your in a franchise with the Mets and your watching MLB Net and the Nationals game comes on, they do a live look in and Bryce Harper is up with the bases loaded in the 9th inning. I would drop into that live look in, play as the opposing team and try to get Bryce Harper out to protect my lead in the division.

I just think it would add so much to being involved within the baseball community and not focusing on your own team so much and you have the ability to play with all the teams and can choose to drop in and play the live look-in or simply let it play out.

I wish that people going up and down the stairs in the stands will finally reach their destination..They walk up and down them like elderly folk..

I wish that the CPU didn't anticipate when I tag up simply because i press a button..

I wish for better collision without all the clipping..
