On Dynamic Difficulty, is it best to use default sliders?

      Great at pitching.
Bad at hitting this year. I strike out a lot. A lotttt, because my brain never got use to the flick hitting. My brain is use to analog. I'm use to pulling back and releasing if I don't see my pitch. Now if it's 0-2 my bat goes too far and it's non stop strikeouts for me.
Was bad at fielding left field, because I want to get the ball smooth and my player twitches. Most of this season I had it on auto and I only throw the ball, because I've been trying to get my last trophy. Rob a home run, but auto makes the plays look smooth.

I switched from Dynamic and went to straight all-star. The game seemed more realistic. On Dynamic, I found the game to get somewhat unrealistic - opposing teams performance accelerated so high that I knew from the get go that I was going to get beat. OFers that running at twice their measured speed - I'd pull a shot down the LF line but the outfielder looked like the Flash and got to the ball and fired a rifle shot to 2nd. I was out by 30' and Keirmaier was running who is 90+ speed rating.

There are some good slider sets out there but I've never used them. I'm going to start another season and install a set and see how it plays. Most o them look like they will exacerbate weak hitting but there are many to choose from from.

I'm sure this was too many words without offering any help so I apologize.

Re: The Strongest and Weakest parts of your game

Strongest for me is pitching. I find that I'm able to pitch myself out of jams fairly well as I don't let the "pressure" get to me.

Weakest is driving in runs. When I put ducks on the pond, I become an undisciplined hitter and swing at just about everything.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: The Strongest and Weakest parts of your game

The strongest part of my game is my defense. My timing on jumps / dives is very solid.

The weakest part of my game is hitting the low changeup. In or out of the strike zone, that pitch gets me every time. I can't lay off it, I can't wait on it, I'm just terrible against that pitch.

For people reporting they are weak at hitting, what hitting views are you using?

If you haven't played around with hitting views - try a custom setting and adjust so that eye level is even with the pitcher. Makes it a little bit easier to not swing at the low pitches.

I use the default catchers view. I know I should probably change it, but I am VERY resistant to changes, especially when it comes to my view.

Hitting for sure. I played a franchise with the Blue Jays on Zone hitting and I play on hall of fame. I've been playing since MLB 08 and I've just really created a good plate discipline. I easily hit 40+ HR's with 2 players. But I do not dare go on legendary. It's insanely difficult.

Tip for hitting: Take pitches early in the game and get the pitchers stamina/confidence down. Lower the green confidence bar, higher your chance of making good contact.

                              Weakness

Hitting: I'm the anxious batter. Aka- my opposing pitcher never has a high pitch count. I'm extremely impatient at the plate. First strike I see, I take a hack. Can't hit changeups for the life of me. Also, don't really hit a lot of home runs (which sucks)

                              Strength

Pitching: I can rack up the strikeouts. Really strong at making opposing batters chase.

What a tidy post! Sorry, I know that's off topic it's just nice to see.

Ahh the changeup. I curse the changeup. It's only saving grace is that it cuts both ways. I dominate opposing batters with the changeup.
