if you're playing every game, the commentary will always get stale. 2k you get the same stuff over and over too. Commentary is never going to be perfect.

Isn't that your own problem? NBA 2k16 has some of the strongest commentary in sports gaming history.

It's impossible to make a sports game with strong dynamic commentary. Commentators in real life are reacting to what is happening while video games are spewing pre-recorded lines based on context. It's going to sound repetitive no matter what.

Ok, you basically just made the same point that I made, you just worded it differently. Every video games commentary gets repetitive after a few games, the almighty NBA 2k included. And to answer the isn't that my own problem question, no....I don't have a problem with it, because it is what it is and there is really no way to change it.

I've never played a sports game that I didn't find the commentary painful to listen to after only a few games. I'm sorry but NBA 2k is just as repetitive as any other sports title.

Commentary...commentary...we talking about commentary...the premier sports gaming website on the internet...and we talking about commentary...Not franchise mode, not rosters, not accurate draft order...COMMENTARY

^ Presentation is extremely important. For a game that does so many things so well, MLB has fallen to one of the worst in the biz in this category and has been for several years now.

Damn right we're discussing commentary.
