Just a heads up if anyone here is an Amazon Prime member now you you can get 20% off any game you pre-order. If you've already pre-ordered just cancel the order and do it again! Just thought I would share this with everyone.

Do Amazon pre-orders get shipped in time to arrive ON the release date? Target was so annoying last year. I didn't get the game until several days later.

Yes. If you Pre-Order something from Amazon you will get it on release day.

Yes if you have Prime then you get Free Release Date Delivery. I have never received any video game after release in the 8 years I have had prime.

Apparently this is a long term thing they're doing on pre-orders for Prime users to combat Best Buy's gamer club thing. I'm not sure how long it will last but the longer the better.

I believe, as of now, it's expected to be permanent. Best Buy Gamers Club has probably taken a lot away from Gamestop and Amazon since they do give the 20% off new games, so Amazon needs to keep up. I'd enjoy it while it lasts though, because in my experience, all good things come to an end eventually.

I have Amazon Prime (so great) but am strictly a digital person. It's too bad this doesn't work with digital otherwise I would do it.

FYI, if you already pre-ordered with Prime you don't have to cancel and reorder. This is what it's says on the site:

"Offer will be automatically extended to all existing Prime member pre-orders."

While this isn't a bad idea, they still lose out to GCU IMO. No bonus on trade-ins, no Reward Point Program, Only the 20% until 2 weeks after release where BB has it always...
