      Re: Amazon Prime

Talked to their customer support and they told me if the game isn't designated for release day shipping it won't arrive on release day. They told me it would arrive by Thursday I asked why it wasn't available for release day when other games I preordered (Division, Uncharted 4) are and if it was possible it would be and they said it wasn't available for the show but upgraded me to next day for free so it'll be here Weds at least.

So I guess we'll see, I hope everyone gets theirs on release day (won't really matter for me since I can't play until Weds anyway) but if it doesn't come on release day it seems to be that Amazon is expecting it to arrive on Thurs at default.

I ordered off of Amazon for the MVP edition but if it doesn't get to my house on release date I'll just go buy it at GameStop or somewhere & sell the Amazon copy to a friend & get my money back lol

Worth the wait for 20% off tbh

Oh yeah not disagreeing at all, I would've been fine waiting until Thursday and wouldn't have pushed to have my shipping upgraded.

Just pointing out that if it doesn't arrive on release day no one should complain because it wasn't advertised as a game offered with release day shipping.

              Re: Amazon Prime

I have never gotten a newly released game from Amazon since being Prime after release day. They've all been shipped Monday and I get them Tuesday. I'm sure it has happened, but I'd bet very high on MLB 16 showing up on Tuesday. I'm still going with Best Buy since I can pick it up whenever I want and earn/can use reward points.

                Re: Amazon Prime

The game I preordered that comes out Tuesday shows being shipped and leaving their facilities today. So it seems possible for Amazon to get it to the customers on the release day.

Just did my preorder can't wait.

It does say estimated delivery 31 March. Hopefully it'll come the 29th, but it won't be the end of the world if it comes Thursday...

                    Re: Amazon Prime

They sometimes do release day last minute. If you select free 2 day shipping, and it says Thursday, they'll automatically upgrade to release day delivery. I've never gotten a game a day late before. But for the past few years, I've gotten it early on Ebay, so I'm holding off until last minute.

If you're a prime member, they do it automatically. Check your orders page to see if they gave you the 20%.

They will email you the code to redeem it in the PSN store on release day or a day or two after (that is for the Amazon pre-order bonus)

The MVP version of the game will come with the codes for all the bonus stuff (that comes with the MVP version) inside the game box.

Just as another option for people who are Best Buy Gamer Club Unlocked members you will get the same price as Amazon (20% off), and it does state free release day shipping right on the product page. Also, as far as I can tell the pre-order bonus is the same.

Because it specifically stated free release day shipping I chose to go through Best Buy this year, but if you are not a Gamer Club member and are a Prime member, definitely stick with Amazon.
