These are the 1914 uniforms. This post is just another case of both stirrup options not matching the socks, which are the correct style for both uniforms.

First and third pictures are the correct pattern, the stirrups don't match. High stirrups didn't exist back then.

First off, there is no sock option for the home version of these throwbacks and I'm glad there isn't because, as you'll see with Garrit Cole, it looks like crap. I would even go as far as saying that the low stirrup option is crap too. These 1979 throwbacks should default to high stirrups, IMO.

The road version should have yellow stirrups instead of black stirrups because in '79, they wore the yellow stirrups with the black pants.



When they wear them as throwbacks, they wear yellow too.




If you make this switch, think of how bad yellow socks and low stirrups will look.

It looks like you have the right thickness of the stripes on the socks and high stirrups, but the spacing is off. Again, they didn't have high stirrups back then, so I would override it with either of the two other options.

Dressed to the nines says that these uniforms had a white area around the bottom and you can kind of see it in the picture of Honus Wagner.



And is it possible to have these uniforms with a blue helmet that matches the cap and blue accessories? Right now, they have their regular equipment and it looks bad.

sydrogerdavid, I find your knowledge on socks both fascinating and disturbing, lol. However, keep up the good work on authentic accuracy of ball player's socks ( its the little things, that always makes this game great. )

High stirrups for all the uniforms.

This used to not be a problem, as you can see from the first attachment of Matt Holliday.

Across all the uniforms, the stripes on the high stirrup option are squished, as you can see with Heyward.

The high stirrups should look like Keith Hernandez is wearing his below, like they used to in MLB 11 The Show.




With the last attachment, could you please make the belts on the Road Alternates blue again? This was correct when 15 first released, but was made an error after one of the patches.

The pattern is correct, but in 1942, the Cardinals had that white bottom area like some other teams I've posted before. Add that to the socks and low stirrups while also overriding the high stirrup option with the corrected low stirrup, preferably.

So I finally got a PS4 and am anxiously waiting for 16 to come out. I have a a question since my last Show game is 13 on PS3. If you choose to wear the 1985-1990 throwbacks for the Padres are the socks stirrup or are they solid brown? Also are the 1984 Cubs home uniforms fixes? On 13 the home numbers were red instead of blue and the 1988 Orioles had no names on the back of the uniforms which is inaccurate.

For the Padres, it depends on which style you choose for your player. Since I didn't post about them, I believe their sock, low stirrup, and high stirrup options are all brown with white sanis.

As for the other questions, I don't know. I wasn't looking for uniform errors, just sock errors.

I'm sure this is way too late to the party, but they're happening, so I figured I'd post them anyway. With confirmation from the Indians Twitter account that they'll be wearing these in the regular season, I give you striped socks...

I have no idea what uniform combos these would be worn with as they just popped up around camp the other day, but I assume anytime they would've worn the navy socks, they'll likely be in these.
