Well since this thread got bumped I'll follow up and say the switch I ordered 2 years ago has worked great with no lag issues at all! It was the Kinivo one someone else linked to.

I haven't had that problem with the one I use.

Re: Anyone have any experience using an HDMI switch?

I answered previously in this thread, but I have since changed my HDMI switch to this one:

Purgo HDMI 2.0 Switch switcher Box Selector 3 In 1 Out Audio Extractor w/ Optical SPDIF & RCA L/R Audio Out & IR Remote Supports 4K@60Hz, ARC, UHD,HDR
      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077RHRRYC?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

The main reason was I needed a switcher that supported 4K@60Hz HDR, as well as audio return to SPDIF optical.

I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It is a bit on the expensive side tho, depending on your needs.

This is the one that I went with.

Thank you to everyone for recommendations and suggestions. Greatly appreciated.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
