That's true, but by necessary, i meant the jerseys that are going to be worn in the 2016 season.

And what do you say to the people who regularly use those jerseys? Or use them for historic rosters? Or have a team to match for a "throwback night"? I'm sure there is a reason why SCEA uses the system that they do and why they have so many throwbacks (I think I remember them saying that their metrics say that the throwbacks are popular, but I can't remember for sure).

If you're taking that logic, what about the guy who was put on the Giants in rtts, or has the Giants as the franchise, or plays the Giants a ton because they are in the nl west, or recreates daily games and they can't choose their black unis?

Look, I'm not here to argue with Sony about their programming or to argue with you about your gaming needs/likes. I'm just taking the side of 2016 on-field jerseys should take precedent over the New York Giants and examples like that. When 2016 is accounted for and there's room for extras, go ahead and give me some honus Wagner blue pirates. Can I change it? No. Can I change your opinions? Doubt it. Can I voice mine? Sure. That's what makes both sides passionate about the game and the sport.

For me it's necessary that the jerseys from the 60's are in the game even if they aren't being worn because I like using rosters from then.

But it is a 2016 game. It should reflect modern day 2016 baseball. After that, then they can add in the throwback jerseys. The best solution for everyone would be a uniform vault that lets you import/upload jerseys into the current uniform slots.

Yep no need for franchise either. Season works perfectly fine for that don't want to play as a player.

That's completely different.

It's not past vs present for stats. If it was it past vs present for stats, then obviously you'd want the most recent stats in the game opposed to stats from 1985, or from everyone's rookie season, or something along those lines.

With year to year stats, you have it all, past and present. With uniforms, in some cases you have to choose, past or present, and all i'm saying is since is 2016, 2016 uniforms should take precedence.

If it were up to me good sir we'd have all retros and the current alt unis would be DLC (Hoping late 80s Indians unis made it in / been wanting to re-create 1988 along w/ players from major league movie for years but those jerseys never make it)

If people took 1% of the time spent arguing and debating trivial things that they have no control over anyways, and used that chunk of time being productive or improving their life in some way, the world would sure be a better place.
