The Show devs should take notes from PES and EA's NHL series on player creation. Both, in my opinion, have better face creation settings, though for different reasons.

NHL doesn't let you edit faces but includes a very large amount (into the hundreds I believe) of generic face scans that look great (I think they're just scans of anonymous dudes). Due to the sheer number, you're bound to find one that looks pretty close to any face you're trying to create:

PES has been ahead of the curve for a long time, with robust and realistic editing options:

Don Bradman Cricket also has a very robust editor:

Hopefully next year The Show will step it up in the player creation/editing department.
This alone is where the NHL loses to MLB.

I agree the create a player could use a "face lift" pardon the pun but the NHL route no, facial hair of NHL series sure

I thought that was your issue as well.

I noted that to Ramone (mine)...but I never really see it the other way(I almost always use Beard2 stubble)....so I never reported it that way.

Did anyone submit a bug report for it that way?

Same as you, believe it has something to do with the complexion (?) options, the a,b,c,d, freckles, etc ones. The default complexion has that "freshly shaven" look and the 5 o'clock shadow becomes more visibly apparent when altering the lighting angles.

For true clean shaven I usually give my guys complexion D, or any of the lettered ones and lower the slider to the minimum possible amount.

I take the same approach. I almost never use the "Normal" skin complexion.

If I remember right though, every complexion causes the weird"stubble" to appear. I'll have to check again.

Did anyone who gets the glitch WITH facial stubble report it as a bug?

Yeah, I reported it, and got an explanation of what was going on. They were looking into it.

It also happens with long hairstyles and beards. For example when pitching, it'll look normal and full BEFORE you choose your pitch type. When you select your pitch, the hair/beard fades away, not completely, but enough that it makes it look awful.

Same with the 3d rendered grass that disappears (becomes a flat mat) after you select your pitch.

That's a separate issue from the stubble glitch though
                  NFL : Atlanta Falcons
                  MLB : Toronto Blue Jays
