What are your plans for your team in franchise mode?

I thought it would be fun to see what each person is pondering in terms of what they will do with their team in franchise mode.

Myself, I'll play as the Cardinals and my biggest question is who will play the outfield positions. Holliday will definitely be in left, but with the departure of Jay and Heyward, I am left to figure out who will be the everyday center and right fielder. I will use Spring Training to figure this out obviously, but I'm liking the idea of Piscotty being in right. That leaves Grichuk, Pham, Sierra, Plummer, and Tilson as guys who could potentially fill that Center field position.

I feel comfortable with the everyday infield and obviously the everyday catcher. I think we have enough arms to present a solid pitching staff as well.

I love my farm system and feel as though that we have enough depth in the minors to fulfill any injuries that may occur.

    So what about you? Plans?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Just like every year I try to keep it as real as possible.
32 team control - My 2 teams are Cubs and Jays
Do all the call ups and injuries as in real life.
This year though as my Sept call ups I'll prob call up Contreras, Almora and McKinney for the Cubbies
And Jiminez or Pentacost for the Jays
Really looking forward to playing in both stadiums with their new stadium upgrades

Rangers as soon as OSFM is out. Not gonna wait around for other roster updates. Texas is pretty much set aside from Hamilton in LF and Chirinos at C. Will leave Gallo in AAA until either injuries at the ML level or September. Mazara will most likely be a September callup as well.

I'm disappointed in the direction John Hart decided to take Atlanta. I'll be looking at running only an AL team for 2016. Maybe the White Sox, Orioles or Mariners.

I honestly have no idea. To be honest I have always played the Nationals, but I am kind of burned out on them. I stalled in my franchise towards the end of year 3.

I think I am really going to try and spend the next two months with 15 trying to find a new team to play.

Finishing up Year 3 of my carry over Met franchise.

It looks like a lock for the playoffs this year, so I'm sure I'll get the re-up....

If I get the W.S. crown...I might move on.
If not....getting it in '17 in the MLBTS '16 version.

Going with my Orioles. I tried playing with other teams but I just couldn't stick with them for a full season.

Since retractable roofs are now in I will either run with Houston or Arizona this year. Wont make many moves if any at all. Both teams are pretty much set.

I'm planning on doing two franchises, one with my tigers where I will try to win a world series and a 2nd with a rebuilding team like the rockies or brewers. I am planning on playing every game of every season.

After much deliberation and a few sessions with my psychologist I have decided I will be spending my 2016 summer with.....The Chicago Cubs! I know it's a popular choice this season with that loaded lineup but I can't resist. Seeing that ivy turn from brown to green will be well worth it. I know Schwarber will find himself lost in that ivy on more than one occasion out there as he tries to resemble a left fielder.

I plan on keeping my roster pretty similar to what they'll look like and I won't be making any major moves. I'll probably deal for a good lefty in the pen so I don't have to see Travis Wood on my roster. Can I force him into retirement? I shall even move Adam Warren to my rotation as the #5 and I'll probably kick Hendricks into a long relief role. Javy Baez should make for an enjoyable treat off the bench late in games.

I'm planning on listening to an audio recording of Harry Caray singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during each one of my 7th inning stretches at Wrigley. It's going to be great! Go Cubs Go!

I will be playing as the Phillies as usual. I am expecting to have a lot of fun with the game this year considering all of the young talent and great farm system the Phillies have now. Planning on keeping the top prospects in the minors, but if an injury occurs on the big club and a prospect is playing well then I will make the call. Same thing on the performance side of things. If Freddy Galvis is stinking it up and J.P. Crawford is tearing it up at AAA, then Crawford will be making his MLB debut. I am super excited for the game this year.

I will be carrying over my 1987 "The Quest For Donny Baseball" Yankees 30 team control franchise which is currently a month into year 2 as well as my 2014 Yankees franchise in year 2.

Once OSFM drops I will begin a brand new 30 team control Marlins Franchise!! I plan on trying to shape them into a contender as early as year 1 and moving forward look to really make some contender like moves in free agency and the trade deadline. I feel the Marlins are close and just need some veteran "juice" to get them over the hump. With Donny Baseball as their new skipper and Barry Bonds teaching the kids how to hit the ball I love their prospects. Plus retractable roof? Oh yeah some fun in the sun in South Florida!!!
