The first season of my Rays franchise is almost done so once I finish it I'm going to wait and start year 2 when MLB 16 comes out.

Going into year three of my 14 carry over franchise... the two time back to back World Champion Miami Marlins. i am going into year two of this GM contract. i have already hit the contract goal which was win the World Series. i have won the division in my first year. now under a new manager i have to try to win it a second and third time before the contract ends to find out my fate....."Baseball is life, without Baseball life itself ceases to exist." - Ken SpragueComment

Re: What are your plans for your team in franchise mode?
I will start a Cubs franchise once OSFM is out, and probably do some editing of players across the league before starting. Then once I start, I'll try to acquire some young pitching. I'm willing to part with older vets like Montero and Lester, or some of my younger outfielders like Soler, McKinney, Almora, etc. to do it.
In the meantime, I usually have a couple franchises going each year, a Cubs chise and an AL team. Thinking of going with the Orioles this year. I usually have my secondary AL franchise in the AL central or AL West (Twins, Royals, Mariners or Angels usually). I played quite a few games as the Orioles in MLB 15, enough I think I want to try starting a franchise with them.Last edited by HypoLuxa13; 02-08-2016, 01:13 PM.Comment

I plan on carrying over my 15' franchise with my hometown Atlanta Braves with Terry Pendleton as manager. I still have Kimbrel, Heyward, Simba and Freeman, Bump that real life rebuild. I just have to give Heyward a long term contract. Consider it done!
I am very please with the play of E.Y. Jr. speed, singles turns into doubles, maybe triples if a lefty is on the mound. Batting over .300, 30 plus SB. He's my table setter. I got to give him long term deal too. I still have C. Betancourt & A.J. behind the dish. A.J. has taken over like in real life. The guy can hit and Betancourt can't. So finding a FA LF & C is going to be at the top of my list for the 2016 season.MLB: TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Re: What are your plans for your team in franchise mode?
I'm currently updating the ratings & salaries on one of the early OSFM rosters for 15. Once I am done I plan on starting a new Red Sox franchise and simulating most of the 2015 season and will carry over to 16 once the game comes out.
Once I get to the 2015/2016 offseason I'll try and trade Buchholz, Hanley and Sandoval. I really did not like the Red Sox roster construction last year and like it a little more this year but still not really in love. Some offseason trade targets I have in mind already are Jarrod Dyson, Brett Lawrie (if I can get rid of Sandoval). Clay Buchholz/Christian Vazquez/Pablo Sandoval for James Shields/Jedd Gyorko is another trade I considered.Comment
