what confused me was all this talk about pitchers "sliding around" after pitchers... i am currently looking at several different pitchers in play now games in cpu vs cpu... and i dont see it.. they all look good... am i missing something?

if you look at some pitchers feet after they make the pitch, the legs and feet slide into a new position rather than them actually taking steps to get them in that new position correctly, some animations are more obvious than others, but I guarantee you have seen it hundreds of times, if they did a side by side the difference would be as clear as day.

Another thing I just discovered. Look at the field of view of the batting camera the guys were using in the stream. You can see 1B & 3B at the edge of the screen. This way, we don't need the runner window (maybe Ramone said in the stream it's cut), because you can see all players on the field while batting. Look at the FOV difference:

Maybe I am wrong but I do not think PBR was turned on in this stream. If you look at this screenshot the dug out looks like it does in 15 not the one shown in the first trailer with PBR turned on.

I think the game already looked great in yesterdays stream so I can't imagine how it will look with PBR turned on

I believe that's a new batting camera that was referred to a fish eye view. if I understood them correctly, it wasn't completely stated in the stream but more mentioned during the trash talk while they were playing the game head to head.

I think they called it the fish eye view, or something close to that.

LOL no I've thought about the mechanics all my coaching life, I always bestow it onto them players of mine. I just never equated the video game example of why some throws might not look as strong as they do in The Show. This is definitely one of those reasons, IMO.

Cool, great to see some of the previous broadcast-style elements making their way back to The Show.

actually didnt they say during the first stream that it was a new camera angle they developed for 16?

Also a Change of topic but maybe ramone can answer it. Do base runners sometimes take aggressive lead offs in 16? in 15 there was never a reason to throw over to first because the base runner NEVER took extended lead offs so it basically eliminated the cat and mouse game between the pitcher and the base runner.

Really liking that new fish-eye batting camera!... Definitely gonna use that cam to hit with... I like how we can see 1st and 3rd now.

Side note - Looks like Escobar is wearing new Nike gloves and the Nike symbol on those gloves is royal blue compared to the palm of the gloves being silver...

Showtyme looks like what you were talking about is in... Meaning having white gloves with the Nike symbol being a different color.

Yea based on what we have seen on the pbr screenshots, I think it's pretty safe to say that no pbr was turned on yet. However, the skyline shot and the Wrigley field shot that was pbr all the way.

I'm using a week of vacation so I can really get into it more. The joys of being 26 & single. I have always played RTTS more than anything. Last year I started playing Diamond Dynasty but by the time I did everyone I played against had super stacked teams. The stream yesterday made me more excited to play.
