That would be a good thing if there were hypothetically speaking 18 Rockies combinations of uniforms in the style guide. Although probably too late, that is why the thread was started to show what all teams have been wearing uniform wise since 2012.

That's actually not a good thing for the game because of the slot limitations.

Forcing the devs to choose from multiple choices before the season actually starts and without any context to choose from is not beneficial to anyone.

Well its an easy decision if the options are jerseys the team wears often one that they wore once 10 years ago. However, that's not the case here.

What if we don't know their intentions for the upcoming year though?

Can we always assume that what teams wore last year will be the same for the upcoming year?

Once again you're ignoring the fact that the SCEA team has to choose from the options in the style guide versus what they put in the game. Feel free to ignore this post as you did my last one though should you choose.

Within 9 days of each other Ramone said that they were each in the style guide. If they had to choose between two incorrect jerseys, you choose the closest one to the ones that they wear on the field.

This. It may very well be a combo in the guide. Fine. But why the hell would they put that option in over the black vest/black sleeve combo they wear quite frequently?

How did the awesomeness of this website get lost in this discussion? What a great idea with a superb implementation. Instead we've talked about purple sleeves for pages and pages of posts.

Because it was posted in the Show forum with the intent of showing what's worn on the field compared to what's worn in the game. Discussing how the game is affected is pretty typical in a video game forum.


Had this been posted in the actual MLB forum you can assume the course of discussion would have been drastically different.

Several here that I know of have seen the style guide but can't really say much due to getting someone in trouble depending on how they were able to see it.

The MLB style guide link is above but is prohibited only to users of authorized access. I don't understand why MLB is protecting this information?
