As far as I know its just for online franchise. not sure about DD or offline.

Would anyone be interested in a fictional roster, short seasons, fantasy draft league?

Is online franchise even working yet? Just thought it would be a fun new twist on the online experience.

I've played 2 games and won. But they default to the red circle with 2 dashes inside of it. What does that mean??

I have Thor as my SP for 2 straight games. Was getting ready to play my third game and he's still suggested as my SP with FULL energy!!! Is this a bug!?

The circle with the 2 dashes means your game is still in progress. The server hasn't counted your game yet. That is why you were able to pitch twice with your pitcher. Once the server processes your game your pitcher will be fatigued as normal.

Processing time has been hit or miss this year. Last year is was instantaneous. This year it can process normal or take up to a day to process a single game. The server issues are that bad for us in online franchise mode. Our record is 36 hours for the server to finally process our user game this year.

Hahaha! Ours is probably close to that too, it gets very annoying when you hit a point where you've spent your SPs who have some sort of stamina and then have to wait to play again until they process.

Last night was particularly weird since games were simming all night long (we simmed the CPU to the end of the season) with no stoppages, yet game weren't counting right away

We are a 30 team round robin 29 game schedule and like to keep pitching matchups the same (meaning my #1 will face the CPU #1 and so on). We play a game and then sim the CPU games to keep it that way. for about a 10 day period, it was awesome. Simming worked great and games processed up until about 3-4 days ago. Now we are back to playing 1 or 2 games a week instead of playing 1-2 games a day.

This issue still exist after recent patch 1.06



Since the patch version 1.04 and still after patch 1.05 and 1.06 every CREATED player on a roster that's is uploaded into the online franchise have the same exact face. This also happens when you use the SCEA roster update any players recently added all have the same face no matter how you created them, no matter what hair style, skin, eyes etc they all will get the same exact face.



In a online franchise any created players or players added in a roster update you used on your roster will all get the same exact face in your online franchise.



Every single player that's created gets same face.

Even though Dale Thayer no longer plays for PADRES I did it as a test. Usually his real player model from 2016 he had a long beard. You see here its the same face as all the others because he was created.

This does not happen offline in a offline franchise it only contains to the online franchise. I am not sure about rank matches as I do not play those.

I was told it was being looked into, but still has not been fixed. Is there going to be a patch that actually fixes this or not? or am I wasting my time trying to play a game thats broken? I have waited patiently and after 6 patches still online franchise is a mess.

Agree with this. Frustrating trying to play a game that's turning out to be revolving around Diamond Dynasty, not everyone plays DD. Was this a glitch or was this done purposely to free up server space for diamond dynasty? I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't fixed for the remainder of the season...but I'm hoping it is because like you said, Online Franchise wasn't broke the first 4 weeks, then when you think it's fixed, a new problem comes up. Please fix this issue, SCEA

So last week or so, I decided to jump back on our online franchise (just two people in it, my buddy and I, and I am the commissioner) from playing ranked seasons on DD. I clicked on the franchise tab and went to load my online franchise, except it wasn't listed there anymore. SDS deleted our online franchise for some odd reason.

I talked to my buddy and had him check and it wasn't listed for him either. He couldn't have deleted it because I am the only person with that power.

Needless to say, we haven't started up another one. We may again in the future, but it was pretty frustrating to lose 3 seasons worth of time.

Same thing happened to ours last year. I wonder if they delete them if they see inactivity for too long. It's horrible if that's true.

Heading into the 2024 season (so 6-7 seasons in) and money has become a problem for teams YET AGAIN, where there are a handful of 90s and even a 99 or two that are going to be forced to retire due to team's not being able to retain them.

There's gotta be a fix for this going into The Show 18, wouldn't happen in Offline Franchise but Online is a whole different monster.

We need this addressed for sure!

I've never had this issue

I've had issues where teams have too much money.
