Does anyone have any concrete info on whether we can play the whole game tomorrow at midnight EST? I have all 51 GBs downloaded but I've heard from some sources that no matter what you only get to play a demo game of Mets vs Royals tomorrow night while the game installs (diff from downloading) and I've heard from others that the whole game will be available. Which one is it?

Look at the timer clock that will tell you how long you gotta wait! it's not rocket science there shouldn't be any confusion at all

Okay so I just got my PS4 today and pre-ordered the digital deluxe version. It immediately downloaded all of the avatar items and then proceeded to download what I thought was the game. It was a 9 gb or so. Then it started downloading the application data. I've had it downloading since roughly 8 or 9 pm and it's still in the 9gb and some change. For the time remaining, it says 99+ hours. What's going on here? My download speed is 21 mbps so I'm not sure why it's going so slow. Unless this normal. If so I'll shut up. Also, is there anything I can do to make it move quicker? I think I saw something about putting it in rest mode but since I just got the 4 I'm not sure how to do so.

For me last year, it wasn't midnight on the nose. It was 2 minutes after. No big deal though.

It think it will be playable midnight Wednesday in the UK, as long as you've preloaded it.

This is the first time I've pre-ordered through Playstation Network.

The download was doing good, had downloaded 32GB since midnight last night.

Then my power went out at 5am.

I went from 32GB downloaded to 20Gb downloaded.

I was looking at it probably finishing by the time I get back from my parents tomorrow (probably 7:30-8pm) to 1 or 2 o'clock Tuesday morning.

Sorry I just had to complain here. I know I should be happy that I don't have to download it all over again.

I'm in the Netherlands and did the digital thing for the 1st time.
Preload went great, very quick download in fact.

And now it's just sitting there, staring at me, i can hear it laughing and saying : what you gonna do now boy?

The wait is almost over.

I don't remember downloading the avatars on the EU store. They don't seem to be available yet.

The icon on the PS4 dashboard is taunting me ruthlessly.

To me, it's SDS that is taunting... Releasing the game just when Easter holidays are over (was off from work Friday + today) is simply cruel. Had 4 days to play, couldn't. Need to get back to work, game launched!!

Fortunately, there's Twitch and early stream.

Back on topic, game preloaded very quickly and as someone else mentioned, we won't get a code by email. Everything is embedded in our preorder download.

That has never been the case. If you pre-load the game, it is the full game, not a demo. Your "sources" are incorrect.

Just checked and the clock is ticking down from 16 hours. I imagine that'll be the same for all UK/EU based players providing you ordered from the US PSN store.

As for "rest" mode, go to power icon on the PS4 and it will give you different options for how to turn off the PS4. Rest mode is one of them.

If you are playing another game, the download is much slower. Mine has a little higher download speed and it took about 3 hours to download.

Hopefully, it sped up for you. Let us know. I'm curious.

Pausing and unpausing the download will kick start it to go faster most times. When it initially started it said 10 hours, I paused it and started it up again and it downloaded in 50 minutes.
