I left mine in rest mode, and I believe mind downloaded in about 45 minutes or so. 11pm can't come soon enough.

Pausing and unpausing the download will kick start it to go faster most times. When it initially started it said 10 hours, I paused it and started it up again and it downloaded in 50 minutes.

Running the test network in your ps4 settings will also do it.

Worked. When click download it says can't add to downloads. An error occurred on the server (CE-37700-7)

Edit. Now it's downloading MLB THE SHOW 16 at 6.152gb only. Why not the whole 41.1gb game?

2 things:

1) The pre-order extras are the first things that come up when you try to preload, and those will probably give download errors until release time. Just keep hitting OK until all of those cycle through and eventually you'll hit the game download, and it should start.

2) If it still doesn't, read this post - you might be low on hard disk space:

Yep. That's the start of it. Once that 6 GB is finished you should be able to play at least the Mets-Royals game when the game unlocks tonight, but if you have fast enough internet you might be able to have the full game (50.15 GB) by then.

It will roll over into the rest of the download once the 6 GB is finished - I think it downloads in 2 other large parts.

My connection is 150mb but less to the ps4 cus of wifi. But still over 70mb the ps4 gets.
Once this first file is done will it auto start the next ones?

Yep, it will. Enjoy the game!

BTW you have 7 x my internet download speed - I started mine right when the preload began late Sat night, and it took basically a full 24 hours.

Ok here's my question my digital copy is ready and shows the countdown. See I work midnight shift and won't be home till 5am. If I keep it on rest mode all night long by the time I'm home at 5 will it be ready to play fully? Or I should just wait get home at 5 and just wait the remaining time till it downloads?

well, did you pre order before pre load started saturday night at midnight? because how it works is, if you have it set to auto download then at 12:01 saturday night it would have just downloaded the game and installed it and all you would have to do then is just wait until the timer runs out to start the game up.
