They do not. It's possible to set a team as human, but where everything is managed by the CPU (like the 32 team control thing) and still be able to give them sponsorships manually, but if they're completely CPU controlled they won't get them.

Just curious. I only owned 16 on PS3 but I just got a PS4. Does the PS4 version feature any exterior shots of the stadiums? If so, is what kinds of situations. I used to love when MLB 2k8 showed the gates of the stadium during the intros.

Kind of an MLB 17 question but if I take my 16 franchise into the new game, what will I lose? What won't transfer? This is a major factor for me in buying 17.

Any player not part of the MLBPA (retired, did not play last season or otherwise) between 16 and the start of 17 will be reincarnated (stats will carry over, not likeness). A list has been compiled in the rosters section.

Wherever you stopped at. You'll pick up exactly at that same point.

Looking (and have 'quickly' searched for) help on 25 v 40 man rosters.

I want to be able to play spring training using my ENTIRE roster. Seems as though when you do this, you have to use a 'move' for them to put them in their respective minor league spot to start the year. Is that accurate?

Any assistance is appreciated!

Looking (and have 'quickly' searched for) help on 25 v 40 man rosters.

I want to be able to play spring training using my ENTIRE roster. Seems as though when you do this, you have to use a 'move' for them to put them in their respective minor league spot to start the year. Is that accurate?

Yes its accurate. All players on the 40 man roster have to use an option if they dont start the regular season on the MLB team.

I'm in a franchise right now that I'd like to carry into The Show 17—can you start a year-to-year save at any point? Are there issues with transferring in the middle of a season? If so, are they bad enough to want to avoid it?

You can transfer your franchise in the middle of the season. To my understanding, you can transfer from any point.

Transferring in the middle of the season last year caused a few issues, most notably being that player morale got all messed up. Players would all want to be Stars or Aces as pitchers, thus making all your players unhappy in some regard. Once the season was over and you advanced to the next season this all corrected itself.

There also may have been an issue with retired players disappearing and faces not transferring over correctly, but I honestly can't remember the exact issue.

As for are they bad enough to avoid, my opinion was that they were not. While it was frustrating to a degree, it really didn't hamper my overall experience.

Having said that, I'm expecting these issues that cropped up last year during franchise saves to be corrected this time around.
