To me on HOF it feels faster, I was also getting used to the fish eye camera so I am sure that had a little something to do with it too.

Oh ok have you tried the off-speed pitch speed slider that is new this year? Also how is bunting? It was said it was going to be harder. In the past you could lay down a bunt with like any one.

It feels the same to me but with more of an opening time...

Oh ok have you tried the off-speed pitch speed slider that is new this year? Also how is bunting? It was said it was going to be harder. In the past you could lay down a bunt with like any one.

I only played 2 games and have not adjusted any sliders yet. I felt a difference with bunting, a couple times I ended up just fouling the pitch off or it just rolled foul.

Hey for those who have been playing around with different batting types, what do you recommend for those of us who were zone hitters that just left it in the middle of the zone most of the time? Should we stick with zone, or is this a good time to give directional another try.

I ask just because I used to be a timing hitter, but then I got so frustrated with players missing balls that were right down the middle and I saw perfectly that I switched to zone. I've tried tracking the ball with the PCI many times, and it's not only been a huge distraction for me, but it also makes me WAY too aggressive at the plate.

PS I'm going to give directional a try anyways to see for myself, I'm just fishing for a little early insight.

I actually watched those already directional looked quite good, that was part of the reason why I was asking actually.

I think I should take some practice swings in 15 just to see if I like the concept and answer some of my questions about it on my own now that I know it's more of a more viable option in 16.

I may be back with more questions tomorrow.

How do so many people have the game before release date?

I feel confused... the impression thread seems to have a lot of people posting..
happy for everyone who has it, just a little confused that if so many copies are out there, why doesn't Sony just let everyone play. Kinda a flaw n the gaming industry.

I agree with this 100%. I am thrilled for anyone playing, but I really am wondering (especially when I read a guy said he has a digital copy) why I cannot be playing now as well.

I have a 4-day weekend, so instead of using that time to play, I have to wait until the last hour before I have to go to bed and then back to work the next morning. Something seems unfair in that.

think about how genius ea was with ea access. If Sony did something similar think of all the 6 dollar purchases thyd get so you could play early. I used to always get pumped to get ea games on the Friday but now you can play them usually the Wednesday. No bodies breaking street dates and ea is getting free money. Love or hate Ea, you have to admit access is genius. Sorry back to answering questions

If you guys had any questions on how Meter and Analog pitching will be affected by precision input...I have impressions for both

Many thanks Cardinalbird for posting the batting camera videos.

Offset zoom will be my camera for sure. That is very similar to catcher zoom 3 which was my camera on 15. I must feel like I am in the box. Reading pitches is far more realistic and easier for me with that approach.
