However, you need good pci placement with zone or it will not matter.

As far as directional hitting, timing is your only input and influencing a side to hit to has no correlation with the success of your hits and timing the ball. The placement of the pitch dictates whether you need to be a bit earlier or later with your timing.

With timing hitting, is it still harder to hit with bad hitters, or is it completely based on your input. Like for example, with the new PCI I was worried that it'd be possible to hit .300 with anyone on the team. In reality only one or two players if that should be capable of hitting .300 on a team. Hope this makes sense.

Now, this is a weird question. What PS4 exclusive should I buy? MLB 16 the Show or Uncharted 4? I have 15 the Show and hardly play it. Mainly since baseball is over. I prefer to play franchise and a CP RTTS. I just get bored with the length of a 162 game season, but also don't want to play short seasons since I used to do that on the PSP (14 games) and it would be too quick.

I am just considering getting Uncharted 4 for the story and MP. Quantum Break is an option, but being single player only doesn't seem so great. Leaning towards 16 the Show.

Its still based off attributes. Its a combination of both. You can hit 300 with bad players if you are really good with the pci but its less likely and would be difficult.

Seems simple but I'm glad my paranoia was wrong and they didn't screw this up.

In a way I'm kind of glad precision input is screwing up center swinging for zone, that was way too powerful to begin with.

What I wanted to hear thank you cardinalbird7 much appreciated. Looking more and more like I'm going to be making the switch to directional this year.

Is anyone using Zone hitting but not moving the reticule? I think this replicated timing hitting last year. How is it this year?

              Thanks,

For those who have the game, how do you turn off the vibration feature? I can't find it???
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

In settings go to General and then Advanced. Then its one from the bottom.

Directional hitting replicated timing hitting if you left it alone. Center swinging this year with zone hitting will not result in quality hitting.

Are you guys noticing more realistic (i.e., less) double plays occurrences?

Is that still the case for this year? If you use directional but don't pick a direction it is the same as timing?

I sure hope the timing/directional hitting is better as people are claiming it is. Nothing was more frustrating than getting a hittable fastball only to hit a dribbler because the game's random PCI decided to be in a place that caused that. The Zone hitting was good for a "fix" but if the zone hitting in '16 makes it even harder...man...

Anything at all about "precision input" affecting classic pitching?

So I wasn't the only one, eh? Playing a fantasy Franchise in which I made it to the World Series but lost, my team (during the regular season) had almost triple of any other teams total DP's.

There also was no stat on how many my team turned, but to me, this was the one things that was so out of ratio that I could rate it as 'ridiculous'.

I'd love to know if it is the same, though I realize it is a bit early to really have a good sample size.
