Not to sound rude but what is the purpose of the OSFM V1 roster? I'm all about seeking realism in my games but why would I want to spend all that time bringing all the currently injured MLB players from the Free Agent market back to their respective teams? Does OSFM V1 include a whole bunch of rookies not available in the current Show roster? What's the big deal..

The OSFM put real minor leaguers into the game. Then they set the 25 man roster for each team based on the current roster (injured players go to A ball or free agency)

When are you pressing L2? Who are you running with?

I just kind of lead off with L1 then hold down L2 so it will figure out I want to steal.

I've been having trouble base stealing for the past couple seasons of the game

some speed rated 67, but also an 81! getting thrown out every time

Try letting go of L2, when you want the runner to take off. I think you're not telling the runner to take off until the ball is in the catcher's mitt. I let go of L2 when the pitcher first starts his delivery and I'm pretty sure that is what you're supposed to do.

Does the difficulty in franchise increase once you hit the playoffs like it does during road to the show when you get called up

Have they ever talked about trading cards in Dynasty? I just got a gold Justin Upton with a pack I purchased with stubs but I'm trying to complete the Angels team and realized how foolish that is seeing as Mike Trout is next to impossible to get. Even if I sold every single card I have, I'd still be way short the stubs because of how much he is. Is it better to save up all my stubs and buy the 20,000 costing pack? Do you get better players if you buy the 20,000 and 10,000 stub ones?

I asked Ramone about card trading and he said that you couldn't, but he didn't elaborate.

I have opened one of the 20 pack boxes and three of the 10 pack boxes (bought stubs with $$). I have yet to pull a single gold card, let alone a diamond. Guess its just bad luck, but I have not received a gold or diamond card from anything except from my presale bonus.

So, your results may vary.

In Road to the Show does anyone know if MLB teams call up players for September call-ups? Does your created player have a chance at making the MLB roster in that time frame?

You'd have to be on the 40-man roster to be called up.

I haven't played The Show in a couple years, so I have a few questions about this years version:

-Is it possible to prevent trades from occurring between CPU teams?

-Are offseason player declines, with players in their 30's, still drastic?

-Is there the ability to change the direction of the left handed pitching meter? I'd like to be able to have it face the same direction as the right handed version, as otherwise it's tough to get the timing down.

Is anyone else having problems stealing second with guys on first and third? I never had a problem with it last year pushing right with the left stick and holding L2, but this year when I do that the runner from third is also stealing. I play with the Royals so I have quite a few guys I like to steal with so this is a little frustrating for me. Maybe I am doing it wrong, has it changed from last year or do I need to hold my left stick to the right for a longer period of time before holding L2?

Don't hold L2 while holding the L-stick right - tap it. You'll get rumble confirmation in the controller, and the runner will break with the pitch.

I know some other people have mentioned this and it might be a bug that the press/release L2 command doesn't work when directing an individual runner. But if you don't mind not having exact control of the jump, tapping L2 will work.
