As you move up through the system, the difficulty goes up internally - 1 level per level of the minors/MLB.

And it's been like this for probably as long as RTTS has been around. It might be that you didn't notice before when you were tearing up the minors in past games, and actually started to see a challenge once you hit MLB?

Anyway, you can change the difficulty to counter that internal shift, and I'd recommend doing just that if you want to have any kind of challenge in the minors.

There's proof of this in the game, btw:

i've started to do this, hoping it would trigger something.

So question regarding the draft in franchise mode. I haven't played in a few years (and haven't kept up too much with the game's progress either), but previously the scouting and rookie draft have been kind of a weak spot in franchise mode in my opinion. I was wondering how these aspects have evolved / hopefully improved through the years (last one I played was 13 I believe).

Thinking of picking this up this week and this will be a sizable part of whether I do or not.

Set it to preview where it only shows up for the first pitch of the at bat and then goes away.

Does anyone know why my players in franchise mode are 4 points slower once the game starts than what is displayed on the roster page? For example Ender Inciarte has ecstatic morale right now and has 79 speed. But once the game starts it shows him having 75 speed in the upper right hand corner rounding the bases. Mallex smith should have 98 speed but only plays with 94. They're both playing the correct positions and have high morale. My overall coaches attributes should be adding 3 points to speed also. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I am not sure I don't use quick counts. I did not know there was an issue, it probably has to be programmed differently because there is never a "first" pitch of an at bat with quick counts. I will write it down.

Yeah, I knew you could set it to preview too. I may wind up doing that. I like it off, but in key at-bats it would be nice to be able to press a button to bring it up.

One of your coaches might have the "-4 speed" trait but might have something like "+3 power"
I was wondering the same thing too about my guys but then I noticed I had a coach that had something like "-2 speed"

I would just make sure they all say something about speed and add them all up if there are multiple. I know you say it should be adding speed but make sure there isn't multiple coaches affecting it. That's all I can think of. Mine were spot on once I noticed my coaches

Say it's the second time you're facing someone, how do you check what pitches you threw in the previous at-bat? I can't seem to figure out this year.

Click R3 (the right analog stick). You can also use the Pitcher Analysis screen to check pitch data from the whole game.

Through the normal PS4 capture, no. The PS4 blocks them at the share level, so they don't come through either on recording or stream. Not a bug, 100% by design (several other games do it too)

If you use an external capture (think Hauppage, that kind of thing), then it's possible.

Yeah all of my coaches together should be +3 for speed. None of my coaches are subtracting speed.
