Remember anyone seeing this that if you start a franchise or season with CPU CONTROL on there will be 0 injuries happening no matter what you set your slider setting to.

I was trying to take one extra step, and the AI threw over 3 straight times. On the next pitch, it was a pitch out.

I hope it's not too easy to game the AI into a "free ball," but I did have Dee Gordon on base.

Being similar, what I mean is that you use a button to look, and you push a button to make a throw. A few animations, but it's the same thing from what I could tell.
To follow up, when I hit the "take extra step button" that no longer exists, the pitcher would throw over. It's almost like it's there, but it's not?

Again, nothing conclusive. I'll keep exploring.

Haven't been in this thread since yesterday catching up to see what I have missed. So are you saying that in the past if you played on all star pitching you may need to go up to HOF? In the past I found HOF to hard but Default all star to easy. So I would play on All star with sliders to make it a little harder. So will I maybe need to just play on Default HOF this year?

I'm going to stream for an hour or so. Check my Twitch page on my signature below. If you have any specific questions I'll try and field them. I'm probably not going to play a game right now so if you have a specific question I'll try and field it. I'm messing around with Sounds of The Show at the moment.

Have any of you guys played with the reintroduced analog stride? If so, how well does it play with the improved precision input?

What is the difference between hybrid and broadcast presentation? Do you get to see foul balls on either of them unlike last year?

Hybrid is half broadcast and half fast play. It cuts some animations.

Oh ok so broadcast it is lol. Notice any thing new about broadcast? Do you see more foul balls then last year? More batter walk ups then last year?

Sorry, I can't answer this because I don't have the game yet. I just remember them talking about hybrid in one of the streams.

Wow I was just looking in the impression thread and saw there is now a off-speed pitch speed slider. I was not expecting that. Has any one messed with that slider? In the past I have always found changeups to hard to hit for a few reason.

                        1. It looks to much like a fastball. I now in real life changeups are not easy to hit but I fell like in this game in the past changeups look like a fastball like 95% of the time

                        2. Even when I do pick it up that the pitch is going to be a changeup and I try to want back on it I am still early like 90% of the time. So because of those 2 reason I have always found changeups almost impossible to hit because I either am way to early or the pitch looks like a good pitch to hit only to fall out of the strike zone at the last second. Or both of those things happened.

So with there now being a slider like that maybe it would be a good idea to say have the fastball pitch speed slider at 5 and maybe have the off-speed slider at say like 7 or something so the differences doesn't fell as big?

I think adding sliders for various pitch types (fastball, off-speed, etc.) is an AWESOME addition.

Great, great, great addition to make hitting so much easier; who knows, maybe I can finally get over the whole changeup fiasco of 2015.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I have been iffy on getting the game just because I don't have all that much time to play video games any more being a grow up and I have a lot of other games I play and I have been disappointed with the graphics of the show this gen. But this addition may end up making me give in. I have been playing the show since 08 and changeup has been a fiasco for me ever year lol.

Has there been any changes made to how the animation system works when you change a players stride or swing?

For instance if you change a player's swing type does their stride change to the default like last year?

They added a lot more correct? I rarely changed the swing type from say two handed to one handed because I disliked how it affected the stride of the player. It looks like there are some new unique strides in the game, would be nice if we could pair those with different swing types.
