Does Arrieta not have a cutter in the game? Saw a video on youtube where he had only a sinker, slider, 4 seam and a 12-6 curve.

Not having a cutter on Arrieta is ironic as hell.

Hopefully this is fixed in an update. Replace the slider with a cutter and give him a changeup as a fifth pitch

You do realize you can edit him to have any pitch right?

His pitch is actually a slider hybrid so they don't necessarily have it wrong.

It should look closer to a cutter than a slider but he wasn't allowed to throw a cutter with the Orioles so the pitch was always referred to as a slider.

His pitch is actually a slider hybrid so they don't necessarily have it wrong.

It should look closer to a cutter than a slider but he wasn't allowed to throw a cutter with the Orioles so the pitch was always referred to as a slider.

It won't be at all effective in game if left as a slider. You try using it high and in and the ball isn't staying in the park.

The "slutter" he throws now wasn't used at all with the orioles.

Does anyone have a full list of attributes which do not increase in franchise with the new progression model? I believe speed and pitching velocity were mentioned as well as being the most obvious ones to have nowhere to go but down.

I have a question about hits up the middle.

Seems in previous versions pitchers are almost like hockey goalies in their abilities to stop/deflect/play shots back up through the box. In real life they are no way this effective.

Has this been toned down at all?

I have played 7 games and have yet to hit the pitcher with a ground ball or line drive back up the middle.

I have played 7 games and have yet to hit the pitcher with a ground ball or line drive back up the middle.

I have played 25 or so. Hit the pitcher 1 time and been hit by the CPU 2 or 3 times.
