Is there an option I have to enable to see the green L1 tag up display popup when I hit a fly ball with men on base? I see it on streams but never in my own games.

LOL! How are you confused??? I want it ON! It's set to ON and yet it doesn't show up no matter which buttons I push or hold. It doesn't appear in the bottom right corner. I can't see the previous batters pitch he got a hit on. I can't see if I was late or early or good. None of that info is available. It simply vanished after the first game I played. I turned it off and then back on and that didn't fix the issue. This hasn't happened to anyone else here?

Okay, I'm going to try to break it down one more time. The Pitch/Swing Info and Pitch Select Display are two different settings. The Pitch Select Display is the option to see what button corresponds with what pitch (X = 4SFB, O = Curve, etc). Someone discovered (I don't know how) that for some reason turning Pitch Select Display on also makes the Pitch/Swing Info reappear. I can confirm that the following steps work for me, just try them once to see if it works for you.

1. Start a game like normal and throw a pitch. No Pitch/Swing Info, right?
2. Pause and go to Settings. In general settings (I think advanced) are the options for Pitch Select Display and Pitch/Swing Info. I'm guessing you have Pitch Select Display off and Pitch/Swing Info on (like I did).
3. Turn Pitch Select Display on and go back to game.
4. Hopefully both Pitch Select Display and Pitch/Swing Info are now showing on the screen. Now you can turn Pitch Select Display back off but the Pitch/Swing Info should stay.

Unfortunately we have to do this every game right now, hopefully it will be patched soon.

I am currently looking into buying a PS4 and the Show 16. The last year I played was 2014 on the PS3. How does it compare to the older versions? Is it still a good SIM experience?

Also, is the stuttering issue that people were complaining about game breaking? I love the Cubs and people said it was the worst in Wrigley.

Is button hitting (zone) pressure sensitive?

Meaning, if I don't press the button down hard enough, will it weaken my hits? Because I noticed how you check your swing if you don't press the button hard enough. I don't press my controller buttons very hard and I'm afraid it may affect how well I hit.

No they are not pressure sensitive.

The SIM experience has only gotten better with each title, but yes its still a good SIM experience.

Myself and others have not witnessed any stuttering.

Is there an option for fielding view in rtts? In 15 you could see the ball when playing outfield, now you just run to a spot on the field and hope the ball doesn't hit you in the face.

Loving the game so far, just asking if anyone has seen this?

CPU runner is heading to 3rd so I throw the ball there from the OF, my throw is a little off bag and the runner doesnt slow down and just starts heading for home for an easy out. I have seen it 2-3 times in about 11 games, seemed to only be when the throw takes the 3rd baseman off the bag, anyone else seen this?

I have not seen anything like that to date. If possible record a replay of it, could be a bug.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I saw it in my first few games, but hasn't come up again so if it does I'll do that. Thanks

I have seen it happen, but my throw pulled the 3rd baseman far off the bag, so I wasn't surprised that the runner took off.

The one time my 3B was way off as well, but I think it was Swihart that took off any i had the ball to home before he was even half way.

The one I had, I don't remember who was running, but he was safe by a mile.
