I have seen it happen, but my throw pulled the 3rd baseman far off the bag, so I wasn't surprised that the runner took off.

The one time my 3B was way off as well, but I think it was Swihart that took off any i had the ball to home before he was even half way.

If this is happening the outcome is not correct. CPU base runners should not be seamlessly rounding bases on an offline throw that does not get by the fielder. They should be sliding or at the very least stopping at the bag. The AI logic is off.

Yep, not even a slow down when it happened, I am hoping i don''t run into it again but will make sure to record if it does and file bug report.

I am not getting home run celebrations on broadcast mode. Or any mode for that matter lol. My player will hit a home run and it will immediately go to the next player without a celebration or a replay. This has happened on at least 3 different occasions in 3 games. I was told there might be an option that I might have accidentally clicked that turns off home run celebrations. Can anybody help out on this? Or have I encountered a rare bug?

Also, is the stuttering issue that people were complaining about game breaking? I love the Cubs and people said it was the worst in Wrigley.

I was playing a game with SoTS files added and whenever they were used the game would stutter/pause for a mili second, most noticeable on strike outs but happened with all the other SoTS cues. This is the only stuttering i have seen.

I never noticed it the other day when i first put music into the game and played but the last few games it has been noticeable.

Also is anyone able to hear crowd chants and yells, i can just hear them when i use my headphones but not thru my speakers. I could hear them very easily in 15, playing as rangers i would hear them call out elvis,beltre ect., not hearing any of that in 16.

Okay, I'm going to try to break it down one more time. The Pitch/Swing Info and Pitch Select Display are two different settings. The Pitch Select Display is the option to see what button corresponds with what pitch (X = 4SFB, O = Curve, etc). Someone discovered (I don't know how) that for some reason turning Pitch Select Display on also makes the Pitch/Swing Info reappear. I can confirm that the following steps work for me, just try them once to see if it works for you.

1. Start a game like normal and throw a pitch. No Pitch/Swing Info, right?
2. Pause and go to Settings. In general settings (I think advanced) are the options for Pitch Select Display and Pitch/Swing Info. I'm guessing you have Pitch Select Display off and Pitch/Swing Info on (like I did).
3. Turn Pitch Select Display on and go back to game.
4. Hopefully both Pitch Select Display and Pitch/Swing Info are now showing on the screen. Now you can turn Pitch Select Display back off but the Pitch/Swing Info should stay.

Unfortunately we have to do this every game right now, hopefully it will be patched soon.

Lol. Okay. Now I get it. Yes you are correct in that I have pitch display off. It worked! I'm sure they will patch it soon. Thanks!

Has anybody simmed a number of seasons in franchise mode yet? I'm really hoping they fixed the unrealistic development of pitchers we saw in 15 (tons of pitchers rated 99 by years 5-10 with batters way lower and season hitting stats showed it).

So I redeemed my pre-order code through the playstation app for the 10 Standard Packs and whatever a Rep Rookie card is but I wasn't prompted to download anything, it just shows up as a game service tied to my PS Store account. Should the 10 packs be waiting for me in the game? It says I have no packs to open. Is there something else I need to do?

Go to "Shop Now" and you can redeem them there. Then go to your inventory and they'll show up

The time I saw it, it was Kang for the Pirates trying to stretch a triple. The throw was not off target, either.
