Is anyone else's swing feedback not showing up? I have it turned on in the settings but it's not working.

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
Reposting in the hopes someone will answer:
I can't figure out how to turn a double play. When the initial fielding tutorials popped up in-game, I inadvertently closed the window that told me how to make the second throw because I was already holding circle to try to pre-load a throw to first. Now, every time I try to turn a double play, I get the out at second and then the fielder who receives the throw at second holds the ball and refuses to throw to first. How do I make that throw to first?
Try and time it up, as the guy at second catches the ball, press the button to throw to first. Idk what throwing set up you're using, but that's how it works on mine.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
That will work as I think the DP animations are choreographed to flow right into the throw regardless of when the input was made. But personally I preload the 2nd throw as soon as the ball leaves the first fielder's hand, even before 2B/SS catches it at the bag.Comment

Yeah I do the same, I honestly don't know why the OP is having issues. I figured trying to time it up would be his best bet since preloading isn't working.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
I got it to kinda sorta work one time today, although not fast enough to actually make the out at first. Not sure what the problem was - my fielder at second just held the ball the first two or three times I tried this. Preloading the second throw seems to make the most sense, I just haven't been able to execute it correctly yet, I guess.Comment

If the situation calls for it, I almost always preload my throws..Always works for me to turn smooth and silky dp'sComment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
Yes, did you read through any of the thread? It's been answered multiple times. You probably have pitch display off. Turn it on, apply and go back to the game. Feedback should appear. You can turn off pitch display now. You have to do this for every game.Comment

Just answer the question or direct the user where the question was answered previously.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
I find knowing the score, count, and number of outs helpful too but you can still turn off the scoreboard overlay. It's not bothering me too much tbh but I'd turn it off if I could. Don't see why we can't when we can literally turn off everything else.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
It wasn't meant to be hostile. Maybe he or she was reading through the thread and missed it. Usually, if a person does not want to read through a thread, they apologize beforehand about a question they have that may or may not have been answered. I know I do. The no swing feedback timing he is referring to is a known bug so I have a feeling it's going to be brought up again and again.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
I believe it's a bug, try this for a workaround: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...&postcount=754
Thanks, glad to see there's a workaround for it as I really like the feedback, plus the addition of the exit speed coming off the bat is awesome (Next step StatCast?).
Hopefully it gets patched though because I enjoy a "clean" screen while playing... well, "clean" with the score bug and swing/pitch info still there.Last edited by WarningTrackPower; 04-01-2016, 07:54 PM.Comment
