      Neither is in '16.

Its unknown whether they have been added for '17. Should have answer during franchise stream.

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread

Why in the postseason does it feel like the CPU plays different. I was rolling all season long, through the ALDS and got half way through the ALCS and my hitting went completely flat. I lost 3 games in a row to get eliminated. How does this happen?
How does the feel of the game completely change like that?
I'm not saying the game cheated but during the last game I literally felt like I had no control over competing let alone win.
(Ironically enough 12am struck as the last game ended, as if my Cinderella story was over for my underdog team)

Any insight I'd appreciate... ease the frustration a little.

(last year I played this was the Show 13 I think, it was the last one before it launched for PS4)

In exhibition play, can you decide if DH is on or off regardless of home team / stadium? I remember not being able to turn DH off with two AL teams playing.

So i really don't know where to put this, but i was wondering about to create a DD team with only japanese players. In your opinion, it is possible ? I don't care about win/loss ratio, i play mainly offline. It's just for fun cause i love japanese players.
Is there some spot which doesn't have any japanese to fit in ? ( maybe 1B ? ). Thanks for the help, guys.

Hey i just stared my 2nd season and im about 10 games in and stared to realize that the first home run I hit in any of my games are considered first career home run. Is there anyway to fix this bug or am I screwed the rest of the season?

I know its nowhere near the same, but if you include playesr from China Taiwan and So. Korea it would be easier to accomplish. Maybe its time for the legends to start including players like Hideo Nomo and Hideki Matsui.
                  Good luck!

If you have a save on Opening Day, start one of the other games, pause after the 1st batter comes to bat, exit/sim the game. If you're already past that point, you're SOL until next season.

Don't know for sure, all I know is that I had one year where my fielding went down the tubes. We're talking complete and utter breakdown. Guys were fumbling the ball on even the most routine of plays, and games where my team had three errors were the BEST games. Had a pitcher lose a game 5-3 with zero earned runs. Some stellar offence managed to pull me through but it was infuriating. Nothing rubs me the wrong way more than fielding errors, especially on routine plays.

If you transfer a franchise/roster over and a created player has hair from 16, if it's not in 17 anymore, will it change?

                          Progression question:
Is it based strictly on stats and potential?
If 2 players have the same stats and potential but one player makes a lot more solid contact, will he progress better than the other?

As near as I can tell, progession/regression is based on performance, potential, service time, if the player is younger than 34, and whether you've made a blood sacrifice to the baseball gods recently.

I've seen young kids have a stellar campaign and regress. I've seen poor performers outstrip great performers. I've even seen a multiple record breaking season happen while the player's attributes melted like ice in July.

I'm ok with some randomness, but the progression/regression system is in serious need of an overhaul.

tl;dr I have no good news for you today, and nothing helpful to contribute.

If its not in 17, I think, by its very nature, it would HAVE to change.
If it doesnt change, then it must still be in 17.

Is there a definitive list somewhere that gives a complete rundown of all the modes and sub-modes in the game and what they do? Obviously these will change for 17 but I'm still not entirely clear on a lot of the jargon used on these boards as I haven't played the game in a few years. For example, what are legends used for, is that just a DD thing?
