    Aaron Nola 85 A
    J P Crawford 80 A
    Bryan Escolano 60 A

    for

    Chris Archer 93 A
    Blake Snell 76 A
If Archer is pitching well, take out Snell and you have a decent trade here. If Archer is pitching poorly, take out Snell and you could probably get by with Nick Williams or Jorge Alfaro in place of Crawford. Archer will be expensive to get from the Rays. Notice how nobody offered enough to get him IRL.

I agree it is a solid deal once you take Snell out. but in real life, i don't think they were ever serious about trading Archer. It was the Chris Sale treatment as it was all hype and no action. they were focused on dealing one of Moore or odorizzi or both and ended up packing Moore to Giants. That haul for Archer would have been huge but like we witnessed yesterday, real life trades can be crazy at time. The biggest example was the Beltran deal. I was considering trying to get Beltran in my twins chise but now I won't go anywhere near him lol

Yeah, reminded me of in online leagues a GM might say "put him on the block" but then say "You'd have to blow me away". Read: Overpay and then pay a little more on top.

All the other teams were like "yeah...no."

          So here's a tough one.

Puig just got demoted, and could conceivably be traded in a waiver deal. In my franchise, he's performing similarly, but is rated as a 96/A. So basically, how do you bridge this gap. I mean clearly a cheap Puig is "realistic," but based on in game ratings I probably wouldn't have the prospects to get him. On the other hand, as the Jays, I would love to buy-low on the talent, especially as Bautista/EE head for free agency in the offseason.

          Ideas anyone?

How many seasons are you in? If he is rated that high you have to be a couple seasons in. If that is the case, what happens in real life wouldn't affect your franchise at all. Puig being optioned in real life has nothing to do with his value in your chise. What are his stats?

He's still in his first year cause he said Edwin and Joey Bats will be free agents. But yeah Puig's demotion obviously doesn't affect his trade value in your franchise....If he's struggling like IRL, then you could probably buy low on him

I would like to Mirror the Giants and Rays trade of Matt Moore before i Mirror the exact trade of Nolasco & Meyer for Santiago. Any help on who I will need to mirror for Matt Morre deal with the Twins? Giants sent Duffy, Fox and Santos. Fox was SF 4th prospect and on the Rays is 7th, Santos was 23rd for SF and 30 for Tampa and Duffy was in majors. possibly looking at Polanco or Gordon, Jake Reed and someone else? If I can't find a fair deal for Moore I will just Mirror the Nolasco & Meyer for Santiago.

Duffy had a 4.9 WAR season so I doubt you can produce that with 4.5 years of team control. Probably going to have to pass on that one

They really only had to deal Duffy because the Giants farm took a hit in the Will Smith trade. Arroyo, Beede and Shaw are ok, but not really a great package for a starter. The Twins might have a good enough farm to get a deal done...but it might take a Nick Gordon or Tyler Jay as a headliner

I might be higher on Duffy than most. But that was a ton of value to give for Moore

See that's the thing. I saw what the Giants have and Santos was a throw in as it looks like. Duffy and Fox were the main part of the deal. I was thinking Gonsalves, Gordon and my last piece I don't know. Dealing Jay would hurt, especially with his value. I still haven't decided if I wanted to deal Nunez to them like in real life as wel to get another lefty prospect. It's kind of hard to mirror some of these moves the Twins made since I am in playoff contention and not selling.

I believe I'm using some version of Willard's Revision Roster, not normal OSFM.

Winter 2016 as the Nats coming off a 106-56 record and a NLDS loss to the Dodgers I'm ready to make a change. I wasn't happy with Revere or Espinosa and have put Turner in CF full time. That leaves me with Espinosa at SS which isn't going to work. Is there anyway I can work out a deal with the angels for Andrelton Simmons. His 2016 was worth 1.81 war with a slighty decreasing BB% and increasing K% at 13%. I'm wondering if I could get him to the Nats without moving Giolito or Turner. Would a package headlined by Reynaldo Lopez and Erik Fedde get them to listen?

Oh it definitely was Duffy had a 4.9 WAR in his rookie season. Not many people do that, he's always gonna be a plus defender and even if he's having a bad year(some may call it a sophomore slump) he could have easily been the ROY last year if KB wasn't in the majors yet. I believe he alone is worth more than Matt Moore, a guy who has a 4 ERA the year after Tommy John. They really overpaid in this trade. His BABIP is also incredibly low this year so he could be down offensively partly due to "bad luck". Matt Moore highest WAR season was 2.7 that shouldn't be something you trade your future 3B for.
