like a day but nonetheless. Didn't see Colorado taking him either but they did. I agree has virtually untradable unless he's lighting it up.

How about CarGo? What's the. Best package I could possibly get for him?

Well I would if it was Reyes for Panda...but neither team needs the other.

The Rays have plenty of mid-late 20's OF.. I was thinking of a younger player package. and I dont want to give up my starting RF when I am contending..

I think Reyes isn't totally untradeable, but he'd have to be performing pretty darn well to move him, and you probably wouldn't be getting a ton back for him. You can always do what Toronto did and package him up plus prospects, or maybe package him up with CarGo and take another bad contract for a player you think you can turn around back. I don't know, try to get creative. I would think a healthy CarGo would be pretty valuable around deadline time if he's performing as normal.

Lol it absolutely is the case. Not one single sane person on thsi earth would give up Carrasco to get Joey Gallo. Not a chance in hell.

And Texas would be the team adding. Carrasco is a top 10-12 pitche rin baseball on a long term contract. Gallo is a platoon player right now but he can hit lefties.

Well the Diamondbacks don't exactly have a great farm system so I'm not sure what to tell you. Peralta would be a good fit in LF, maybe Archie Bradley++ if they're waaaaaaaay out of it but I can't see the Rays doing that.

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread

Carrasco out of 70 AL pitchers and 146 MLB pitchers who threw 180 IP over the last 2 years Carrasco ranks 29th (70) in IP so he won't throw a ton of innings however his K rate is 2nd (5th) FIP is 3rd (5th) X-Fip 1st (3rd) SIERA 2nd (3rd) and War 8th (18th) *() is majors rank*

He has some advanced numbers that say if he had a better defense and some better luck he would have pitched as a top 3 pitcher in the AL and top 10 in all of the majors. His K Rate last year at 28.2 is better than Clayton Kershaws magical 2014 season where he posted a 27.6 K Rate.

And his contract pays him a total of about 20 million dollars of over the next 3 years with production that points to him playing like a player that should be getting 20 Mil a year

And all it would take is Joey Gallo to get him? A guy who has a horrific contact rate and cant hit a lefty ? Lol hahah like I said, most overrated prospect baseball has ever seen.

You'd have to give up a big piece for Kluber or Salazar at this point. Carrasco might be available, but you'd have to give up a decent 3B and CF/RF package.

Is this a fair trade? Meadows (B potential CF), Taillon (B potential SP) and Jung ho Kang for Nolan Arenado. I made the trade (I'm the Bucs) but I'm not sure if the values are equal. The trade logic does seem to be better this year and I haven't really taken contracts into question.
